🌈 Where Passion Meets Purpose – My Story Behind Autism Needs 💙
I never imagined that a part of my internship during undergrad would turn into something so close to my heart. Back then, I was just a student fulfilling course hours, teaching children on the autism spectrum. But little did I know… it would become my safe space, my strength, and eventually, my calling. ✨
Teaching autistic children gave me purpose, but my dream since I was 16 was to become a counselor. So I pursued my master’s in counseling. And let me tell you, my first semester? 💔 It was tough. I struggled a lot—with studies, finances, and mostly, with my confidence. I failed most subjects and began questioning if I was ever meant to become a therapist. Anxiety took over. I felt shattered.
But there was one thing that kept me going, Saturday classes with my kids. 🧩
Every time I sat down to teach them, I felt calm. No racing thoughts, no fear, no stress, just peace. And after a few weeks, I realized: this is more than just teaching. It’s healing. It’s joy. It’s purpose. 💫
Even on days I was completely drained from classes or internship work, I would come back to life the moment I began teaching. That feeling that spark—reminded me that this work isn’t just something I can do... it’s something I was meant to do.
💭 I believe that if something still brings you peace and energy even during your lowest phase… that’s a sign from the universe. And that sign led to Autism Needs.
💙 Today, I continue to teach these amazing kids while also working as a therapist. The joy I feel when they learn, improve, or simply smile—it’s priceless.
Their progress built my confidence. Their achievements gave me hope. And they reminded me that I am capable.

It’s a space I created with love—for children on the autism spectrum to learn, grow, and be celebrated.
