I don’t need you to choose me.
I am the quiet river that knows its path,
the soft bloom that opens to the sun.
I choose myself —
with tenderness,
with grace.

For every criticism we made towards someone, we need to counter the destructive impact with 5 positive comments or interactions.

=========================================

There is no song in my blood.
No pain to rhyme,
No words to sing.
No moon to chase
With scattered lines—

You are here.
And the silence… is noble.

There—
Where I once bled ink into darkness,
Shattered by distance,
Stitched together by hope—
Now,
I bathe in the wind of your breath.
A soul,
No longer needing the rope.

You
Lifted the pain from my veins.
You
Left only peace in its place.

And I—
Once a river of songs,
Have become…
a quiet lake of grace.

If you know someone who might be interested—or if you’re open to sharing this with your network—I’d be so grateful!

Let’s help good people find each other. 💬💞

Love isn't just a flood of hormones that consumes your every thought.
It’s a conscious choice—a daily intention to care, to want the best for someone. But real love also means caring for yourself, ensuring your giving doesn’t come at the cost of your own needs.

Healthy love is reciprocal, not one-sided.
And that requires honest, two-way communication.
Not always easy—because deep conversations can stir up old wounds, even those your partner didn’t cause. But with awareness and kindness, love becomes a space not just for connection, but for healing.

“Love is simple in its truest form: it’s treating the other person with the same respect, kindness, and understanding you wish to receive. It’s about giving what you want to receive, not because you expect it back, but because love is rooted in reciprocity, not in taking.”

“Some seek love not to share it, but to fill a void they refuse to name.
They crave what they cannot give, and take what they will never return.”

“The opposite of love is not hate—it is indifference.
Hate still remembers. Indifference forgets you were ever there.
It is the silence after the storm,
the unopened message, the eyes that look through you.
Love dies not with fury, but with absence—
and the quiet closing of a door that no longer leads home.”

"My heart is not a refuge for the ungrateful.
I give with depth, but I will no longer pour into those who only drink.
From now on, my love will flow where it is honored, not hoarded"

"You can't heal the past by forcing it into the present; only when you heal yourself can you let it flow freely."

The constant influx of negativity, whether from news, social media, or even personal interactions, can be overwhelming. Setting boundaries is crucial for protecting your mental and emotional well-being.
That news is just death and destruction on repeat, turn it off, unless you plan on saving the world. And your mom, always on about you being single, change the subject, or walk away.

Find a space in your head where you can breathe.

Yes. It is infuriating when your loved ones continue with their pattern of harming themselves. How many times do they need to get burn before they learn?

Falling Again

I watch you, fists clenched, teeth grit,
Stepping back into the fire like you forgot how it burned.
Like the scars on your hands weren’t warnings enough,
Like the ashes in your lungs weren’t proof of the cost.

How many nights did I sit beside your ruin,
Holding the weight of your shattered breath,
Listening to the sobs you swore would be the last?
How many times did you say, “Never again,”
Only to spit in your own damn face?

You swore you learned. You swore you changed.
Lies dressed as promises, hollow as your resolve.
You look at me like I don’t understand—
Like I haven’t already seen the ending you refuse to rewrite.

I could scream, I could beg, I could tear at the sky,
But what’s the use of a voice when your ears are closed?
What’s the use of love when you throw it away?

Go ahead. Fall. Break. Bleed.
When you’re done, I’ll be here—angry, tired, waiting.
But don’t expect me to pick up the pieces this time.
