It is Ramadan period. 😁

To all Muslim friends will find it difficult to gain muscle and burn fat healthily.

During this period it is best to focus on maintenance.

1. Keep your calories as consistent as compare to your normal day. (to avoid losing muscle mass)

2. Consider increase protein intake to protect your muscle from being 'burned' off during the day long fasting period.

3. Decrease your workout volume.

4. Consider doing light cardio (30mins) in the evening and Strength training in the morning after suhoor.

7 Reasons why everyone should take Nutritional Supplements. 🤔

1. Research shows that more than 90% of the people do not get sufficient nutrients from food. Supplementation is intended to bridge the nutritional gap so we receive proper balance nutrients from food and supplements.

2. Nutrients absorption declines with age. Body capability to break down and absorb nutrients reduced. We are not getting any younger.

3. Avoid harmful chemicals. Our foods contains many free radicals due to pollution, pesticides, herbicides and etc. These chemicals will attack our digestive and immune system. Supplements like antioxidants can help to fight off free radicals.

4. Exercise increases nutrients needs. Our body uses energy and nutrients that stored in our body. Replenishment is vital for our body to recover after an intense workout.

5. Poor eating habits. Supplement is not able to replace a poor diets, but can prevent the damage done by poor eating habits.

6. Prevent expensive medical bills in the future. Supplements include good diets and regular exercise can prevent diseases and costly disease treatment.

There is this saying..

Too much of a good thing, will be a bad thing.

Working out is good for your health especially cardio. Cardio is great for you heart and overall well being.

But too much cardio would turn out to be dangerous. Because it can eat away our muscle tissue.

We know that, to maximize your calorie burning, you need muscle! Muscle is the metabolism engine that burns body fat, continuously.

So if you enjoy cardio, that's fine, just don't overdo it, and for that matter, don't over do anything!

If you're looking to burn fat while doing cardio, remember to keep the intensity level low, with going as high as 65% of your max.

This things can happen not just on men. Ladies as well.

There is a possible explanation for this kind of body changes. Change of habit, lifestyle, diet and environmental factors.

You read it well, the word "CHANGE".

If you continue doing what you are doing now, you will see the exact same result.

You must've heard of body fat. What about visceral fat? 🤔

Body fat is what we call subcutaneous fat that stored underneath your skin.

Visceral fat is more dangerous than body fat as these fats covered your internal organs such as intestine, kidney, liver, heart & etc. 😭

The toxins from these fats constantly being released into your body, damaging your immune system. 🤢

Not to say your body will have higher inflammation. 🤮

How do you reduce visceral fat? This would required balanced diets and active lifestyle.
