KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) has warned that the use of the “doctor” or “Dr” title by individuals who are not registered medical practitioners may mislead the public into believing they are licensed doctors.

In conjunction with the celebration of Doctors’ Day on 10th October 2024, the MMA Pahang 1st Committee Meeting for 2025–2026—focused on planning activities for the coming year—was held on 11th October at the AC Marriott Hotel and attended both physically and virtually. A membership drive will be incorporated into each activity.
