Facing problems at work as a doctor?

Administrative issues, workplace conflicts, bullying, or welfare concerns can happen in any workplace. What matters is knowing where to seek help.

Start with your internal hospital channels by raising the matter within your department and escalating through the proper administrative structure.

If you need additional support, MMA HelpDoc is here to assist.

Since 2016, MMA HelpDoc has handled approximately 200 cases supporting doctors facing workplace challenges.

No system can promise to solve every single problem. But the goal of HelpDoc is to make sure doctors are not facing these challenges alone, and that there is at least a structured pathway for assistance and advocacy.

Happening now.

MMA Pahang Branch, in collaboration with the Medical Students’ Society of the Kulliyyah of Medicine, is pleased to welcome IIUM Kuantan & Widad medical students to MMA Meet & Greet with Medical Students 2026 on Saturday, 31 January 2026 (8:00 AM–2:00 PM) at Lecture Hall 3, Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM Kuantan.

This session is specially designed to help you prepare for housemanship, what to expect, how to cope with the pace and responsibilities, and how to build resilience and professionalism before you step into the wards.

Most importantly, MMA is with you—today as students, tomorrow as house officers and beyond—and will continue to be the voice of the profession, advocating for doctors and supporting you throughout your medical journey.

This program is supported by Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM, the Society of Malaysian Medical Association Medical Students (SMMAMS) and Widad University College.

PRESS STATEMENT

DELAYS IN APC 2026 ISSUANCE: ADMINISTRATIVE FAILURES MUST NOT CRIMINALISE COMPLIANT DOCTORS

The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) expresses grave concern over the continued delay in the issuance of Annual Practising Certificates (APCs) for 2026, which has left tens of thousands of registered medical practitioners, particularly those in private practice, in a state of legal and professional uncertainty as of 1 January 2026.
