you probably dont know this but before even being a content creator, i was gymming for 10+ years. growing up i had no good father figure so as soon as i could earn my own income at around 15yo, at 18 i picked up a membership, i foolishly spent almost all my first salary for 20-30++ trainer sessions (at least i still learnt the fundamentals).
i joined because i needed an escape from “reality”, and it might sound stupid to some of you but after years of clocking in consistently i realised looking back, it sort of became the mentor that imo taught me valuable lessons that NOW i apply to content. for me, they both have parallel principles,
- be disciplined enough to stay consistent
- be ok not seeing results for ur effort especially when starting
- there are NO shortcuts for long term wins
- loving and being obssessed with what u do can take u to the goal
- be ok looking like a beginner, failing like a beginner even if you’ve made progress
anyways just wanted to spit some thoughts hehehehe
