The festive spirit of Deepavali shines bright at Sekolah Rendah Pendidikan Khas Playvelope!

Before the cooking session, students used the Smart Board to learn about different types of Indian food in an interactive and fun way. The colourful visuals and engaging activities helped them understand ingredients, shapes, and preparation methods more meaningfully.

Our students had a joyful hands-on experience learning to make murukku, masalavadey, and cookies exploring the unique aromas and textures of traditional Indian delicacies.

They were especially excited to try shaping the murukku using the traditional mould, guided with love and patience by our teachers.

To complete the celebration, our students also joined in making colourful kolam designs, expressing their creativity through vibrant patterns and teamwork.

Through these fun activities, our students not only celebrated the Festival of Lights but also learned about cultural traditions, collaboration, and sensory exploration.
