Sesi bengkel ini memberi fokus kepada pengukuhan aspek teknikal melalui aktiviti semakan, kemas kini, dan penyeragaman amalan kerja bagi memastikan pelaksanaan tugas yang lebih sistematik, konsisten, dan berkualiti.

Program ini turut menjadi platform perkongsian pengetahuan serta penyelarasan prosedur bagi meningkatkan kecekapan dan profesionalisme dalam operasi teknikal.

📢 KURSUS: HANDS-ON TRAINING WITH UNISIM VITAL SIGN SIMULATOR

📅 Tarikh: 11 Februari 2026
📍 Tempat: Biomedical Calibration Lab, CMET

Kursus hands-on ini memberi pendedahan praktikal kepada teknologi simulasi pesakit menggunakan Unisim Vital Sign Simulator, termasuk aplikasi dalam pengujian dan latihan penggunaan peralatan pemantauan pesakit.

Peserta berpeluang menjalankan latihan secara langsung dalam persekitaran makmal sebenar serta memahami kaedah penggunaan simulator pesakit bagi menyokong pembelajaran, latihan teknikal, dan peningkatan kemahiran pengendalian peralatan klinikal.

🌟 TAHNIAH & SYABAS TEAM BMCL & CMET! 🌟

Assalamualaikum & salam sejahtera,

Dengan sukacitanya dimaklumkan bahawa Biomedical Calibration Laboratory (BMCL), CMET telah berjaya melepasi Philips Supplier Quality Audit 2025 dengan keputusan CEMERLANG (Audit Rating: GREEN) dan TIADA sebarang non-conformance atau recommendation dikeluarkan.

Audit telah dilaksanakan pada 28 Oktober 2025 oleh Mr. Siddalingaswamy KS dari Philips India bagi menilai sistem pengurusan makmal, pematuhan terhadap ISO/IEC 17025:2017, serta keupayaan BMCL memenuhi keperluan pembekal Philips.

Hasil laporan menunjukkan bahawa:
✅ 31 kriteria audit dinilai sebagai EFFECTIVE oleh auditor Philips
✅ Semua prosedur & rekod teknikal adalah lengkap, terkawal dan boleh dikesan
✅ Pengurusan risiko, kawalan dokumen & keselamatan data mematuhi keperluan
✅ Tiada ketidakpatuhan direkodkan
✅ Audit ditutup dengan keputusan Satisfactory dan memenuhi semua keperluan Philips

Kejayaan ini adalah hasil komitmen dan kerjasama semua staf BMCL & CMET yang sentiasa memastikan kualiti kerja berada pada tahap terbaik.

📍 Benchmarking & Collaboration Visit

On 10 October 2025, the Centre of Technology (CoT) team from Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) through PUO CARe visited the Centre for Medical Electronic Technology (CMET), Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA).

We are truly honoured to welcome the delegation for this benchmarking and collaboration session, aimed at learning and sharing best practices in CoT management, implementation strategies, and KPI achievement.

🤝 May this engagement strengthen cooperation among CoTs nationwide and inspire continuous improvement within the TVET ecosystem under JPPKK and PolyCC.

✅ Seminar Successfully Concluded!

The Centre for Medical Electronic Technology (CMET), Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA) has successfully organized the Seminar on Calibration in Healthcare Technology: Strengthening Biomedical Equipment Reliability on 1 October 2025 at Hotel Mercure, Shah Alam.

The event brought together industry leaders, healthcare professionals, and academicians to highlight the crucial role of biomedical calibration in ensuring patient safety and equipment reliability.

🌟✨ CMET @ PSA in Sarawak – 3 to 5 September 2025 ✨🌟

CMET had a wonderful opportunity to be in Kuching, Sarawak for a 3-day industry engagement with our valued customers and partners in the biomedical field.

📍 We started with a visit to Hospital Umum Sarawak, where we were warmly welcomed by the dedicated team at One Medicare Sdn Bhd Workshop. The hospitality, openness, and fruitful sharing session truly made us feel at home.

The visits to Biomedix Solution Sdn Bhd and Magna Meditech Sdn Bhd made the trip even more meaningful. We truly appreciate the time, warm welcome, and constructive sharing from both companies. Their openness in providing feedback, exchanging ideas, and exploring future possibilities means a lot to us.
