Webinar: Class II Malocclusions: Intro to an Evidence Based Treatment (June 11, 2021)

The Class II has the highest prevalence among those malocclusions characteristic for patients. However, very often the therapeutic approach to this type of malocclusion is based mainly on clinical opinions, dated and partial information.

Frequently, clinicians at the beginning of their orthodontic journey, have difficulties identifying the right choices that characterize the correct diagnostic and therapeutic path, poised between aesthetics and biological limits, between efficacy and efficiency.

The webinar will demonstrate effective and efficient protocols to address the treatment of Class II malocclusions in children, adolescents and adults with a rational method based on current evidence.

This event can only be watched live.

Biomechanics Based Management of Multidisciplinary Patients (May 25, 2021)

Creating a perfect smile for a patient nowadays is not only a task for an orthodontist.

Having more and more adults or even senior persons creates a need for multidisciplinary approaches. The modern orthodontist often works in a team with implantologists, endodontists, periodontists and contributes his expertise to achieve an optimum treatment result for the patient in the end.

Uprighting roots, opening spaces for an implant and similar goals could be tasks for an orthodontist in such multidisciplinary teams. More than ever biomechanics can be valuable tools to achieve accurate and reliable results in such teams.

Prof. Nanda will share in his lecture his expertise of half a century in the orthodontic profession.
