Hey there, I’m Anusia! ✨
I’ve always been a very cautious eater meaning I’d either eat bowls of salads with yummy dressings or skip meals. My principle was either the most “cleanest” meals go into my body or none at all paired with everyday workouts.
I went into uni sticking to these principles only to tire myself out, not be able to focus in class at all which eventually took a toll on my academic results (BIG time). Around March 2018, blood test results came back with the 👩⚕️ telling me that if I didn’t change my habits & lifestyle, I was on my way to boarder-line diabetes and possible thyroid issues. I didn’t know what to do. Because if I continued what I was already doing, my academic progress was in trouble but if I didn’t, my health was. It wasn’t a trade-off.
Thankfully, I met my coach along my quest✨ long story short, I’ve shed up to 10 kgs up till date + 8% body fat. I once was the person who believed that to get results, you need to be extreme. Me? I was just consistent. 💛
Believe it or not, the greatest achievement for me wasn’t just seeing the numbers on the scale.
It’s the community I gained that has my back and the opportunity I stumbled upon “by accident” that’s now helping me help more people out there. To give themselves another chance to be a better version of themselves today.
Call it a blessing, fate or luck, I don’t know. I’m just grateful 🙏🏼✨
💭 But today my only thought was, “what if, I sat down and did nothing?
What if I didn’t reach out for help when I knew I needed a change? Where would I be today, while this world is going through this pandemic?”
If you’ve been thinking of making your change, this is your sign to go for it! You deserve the best for yourself! 💪🏼
