The term Messiah in Hebrew means ‘anointed one’. This is a title given to the person believed to be the saviour, who has been chosen to bring salvation to humankind.

For Senator Emmanuel Onwe, life is not worth living, if we have not discovered one thing that is worth sacrificing our all. For him, he believes he's nothing if he achieves everything on earth yet watch his people and the society perish in abject poverty. He paid the ultimate price by abandoning his lucrative legal career in the Middle Temple, London, came back to Nigeria in other to change the society where he hails from.

Senator Onwe came back home and began the ministry of putting smiles on the faces of his people and today he has become one of the greatest friends of the poor and downtrodden within and outside Nigeria. He is a practical charity worker who has radically and quietly change the status of many of his beneficiaries without subjecting them to indignity and humiliations before the camera. The lists of indigent students and the sick on Emmanuel Onwe's private scholarship and free medical programmes are longer than those of many council area bosses. The hungry also feed fat from his farm produce which he generously shares to them. For him, charity work is a private matter between him and God and so handles it the way cats handle nature's call.

God has remembered Ebonyi Central Senatorial district, a zone where masses are suffering and there's no genuine leader to proffer succor to the wailing of the masses. God has turned his countenance in our favour by giving us a Messiah in our time to give us back the lost glory and redeem us from the abject poverty our Politicians enmeshed us, in their quest for flamboyance and luxury. This is why Senator Emmanuel Onwe is our Messiah, our light that has come.

When you come to him, you'll see a man that is filled with excessive and single-minded zeal to truly represent, propagate and relive the core values and ideals of good leadership. He's the anointed one and Ebonyi Central Zone will be better and greater in the hands of this skillful and pragmatic leader who knows the essence of leadership.
