Asaga Nwali Bags Another Prestigious Award

In a remarkable recognition of leadership ingenuity, service, and community impact, the Chairman of the C-Sagas Group Nig. Ltd, and Founder of the C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Arch. Chief Christian Asaga Nwali (PhD), has been honoured with another distinguished award: “Excellence in God’s Vineyards, Humanity and Community Development,” by the Redeemer’s Christian Men Fellowship, Ebonyi Province 1, Abakaliki, during their annual Men Fellowship Weekend.
The gathering attracted distinguished members of the C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Christian leaders, professionals, industrialists, business moguls, and other community members from across the state.

The ceremony, held at the RCCG Ebonyi Province 1 headquarters, celebrated Arch. Nwali for his unwavering commitment to societal growth, moral leadership, and philanthropic contributions.

In his welcome address, the President of the Men Fellowship, Augustine Nelson Igwe, described Arch. Asaga Nwali as “a beacon of hope.” He highlighted Nwali’s steadfast dedication to God’s work, his compassion for humanity, and his transformative impact on community development.

Presenting the award, the President commended Dr. Nwali’s exemplary character and impactful service, describing him as “a model of integrity, a pillar of community advancement, and a man whose actions reflect true Christian leadership.” He also noted that the fellowship selected him based on his immeasurable contributions and the long-term impact he has consistently made in God’s vineyard and the community at large.

In his remarks, Arch. Nwali expressed deep appreciation to the Fellowship for the honor and glorified God as the source of every grace and accomplishment. “This award is not just a recognition but a reminder that every gift, opportunity, and calling must be used to uplift others,” he said. I have known him for a long time and so well to tell you that he is a good man, a rare good one. He carries kindness the way 'Boko-boys' carry armor, and listens as if every story matters. He chooses compassion over comfort, truth over praise, and responsibility over excuses. He works so hard, very hard and still moves with a quiet strength. He is a goal-getter, driven by purpose. BUT, he is also SINNER.

They said he is a sinner, and yes he is, I believe them. In short, his sin began early. When he was expected to join the queue and wait for his turn to be signaled by 'umunna' with a customary “ngwa, it is your turn now”to rise, and to prosper. He refused. He overtook the line, defied the order, disrupted the choreography of things. That was his first sin. His second sin was even worse. He dared to create organisations bent on saving people meant to be on the street and thereby emptying it- sharing what he earns so boldly in a way that it could not be hidden from a world accustomed to little. Christ, how dare you not point fingers and instead extending hands? Why?

Then came the most unforgivable sin of all.
He founded a charity from the faces of the forgotten, the wounded, the hungry, the abandoned. His iniquity were his calculated compassion, inhesistant hospitality, untagged kindness he carries. And so, the gathering of old vultures circled. In their eyes, he is making a mistakes. Funnily, that very mistakes are things he is doing right.

Tell me: Are these not the very sins we should desire to commit? Are these not the transgressions that free the soul and loosen the chains around the mind?

And I say: If to lift the fallen is a sin, then may our hands be forever stained. If to wipe tears is iniquity, then let us all be sinners. And so, with no shame, no hesitation, I declare, I AM ALSO A SINNER-the good sinner 🤗

He has effortlessly instituted a culture of sanity in the system. His thoughts has helped us learn not in the web of confusion but clarity, as we don't force anything to thwart an already built process.
