What's That Smell?
Imagine this, you are just sitting down in the bus, minding your business when one guy sits down beside you and boom....the stench! Or you are at the salon and as the hairstylist raises her hands to wash your hair, you feel like you have died and gone to hell, but you just have to respect yourself and pray for the torture to end! That's BODY ODOUR (BO) for you....the mixture of sweat and bacteria that causes a bad smell.
Here are 6 things to do to ensure that you stay fresh and clean for yourself and for the benefit of those around you 😊
1. Take regular baths (take your time to scrub areas like armpit, private part, feet, etc.).
2. Wash your underwear regularly.
3. Shave and use antiperspirants.
4. Wear clothes that allow you to perspire without clogging your skin.
5. Watch what you eat. Experts say that eating a lot of foods that have a strong smell (e.g. garlic, onions, etc.) and a lot of protein could affect the smell of your sweat.
6. See a medical specialist if all these do not work.

Unfortunately, many people who have BO don't realise that they have it. Have you been in a situation where you had to tell someone that they had BO? How did the conversation go? Let's talk about it in the comments section 😁
