Today, I want to pause and sincerely appreciate all the amazing men out there.

Men hardly get appreciated for the countless sacrifices they make — for their families, their communities, and everyone around them. Yet daily, they wake up, take responsibility, and keep giving their best.

To every responsible man:
I see your sacrifice.
I see your silent battles, your hard work, your commitment, and the weight you carry just to make sure others are fine.
It is not easy paying bills here and there, carrying responsibilities, and still standing strong — but you do it with courage.

I celebrate you.
I appreciate you.
I honour you today.

May you live long in good health to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

💔Children Are Suffering in Silence… Dear Parents, Please Read This ✍️✍️👇

One of the saddest things I see as a counsellor is how many children are silently hurting because their parents are separated.

A student spoke to me recently and said, “Counsellor, I miss my daddy… I want to talk to him, but I can’t.”
Not because the father disappeared…
but because the parents no longer communicate, so the child is cut off emotionally.

Let me say this with love:
Your separation is between the two of you — please don’t drag the children into it.

If your children live with you after separation or divorce:
➡️ Allow them to talk to their father or mother.
➡️ Create a peaceful avenue for calls.
➡️ Allow visits where possible.
➡️ Don’t make them feel guilty for loving the other parent.
➡️ Don’t use silence as punishment.

Children need emotional stability.
They need connection.
They need both love and access to BOTH parents (unless there is a safety issue).

Many children are depressed, withdrawn, or acting out — not because they are stubborn, but because they are hurting and confused.

They can’t say it at home.
They are not allowed to express the truth.
So they carry the pain alone.

Dear parents, even if your relationship failed, your parenting should not fail.
You may not be partners anymore,
but you are still parents — forever.

Please, don’t make your children pay for a decision they did not make.
Give them the emotional freedom to love both of you. ❤️

Is really painful seeing them go through all the consequences of their parents decision. 🤔

Some of them will beg me to secretly call their Daddy or Mummy through my phone so that they can talk, but I can't do that. It's against my practice as a counsellor, I only encourage them to be patient with their parents to make that avenue for communication.

I always feel sad listening to them and see how some of them cry 😭bitterly. A child of 10 or 12 going through all the pain and it will turn to childhood trauma.

⚖️ Justice for Ochanya! ⚖️

Ochanya’s story still breaks my heart. 💔
A young girl full of dreams — her life was cut short in 2018 due to complications from continuous sexual abuse by a father and his son. Sadly, justice was never served.

Today, her voice may be silent, but her story still cries out for justice.
No child deserves to suffer what she went through.
No girl deserves to die the way Ochanya died.

It’s time for the Nigerian government and the Benue State government to act. Justice must not be delayed any longer — it must be served.

Our girls deserve safety.
Parents, let’s teach our sons and daughters to speak up early. Silence only protects the abuser and destroys the victim.

We demand justice — not just for Ochanya, but for every girl whose voice has been silenced.
May her death awaken a generation that refuses to be quiet in the face of abuse. 💔

Yesterday was another impactful and unforgettable experience for me! 💜

I was invited by the Founder Yvonne Joyz Nwachinemere Yvonne Joyz Nwachinemere of Joyful Impact for Women Development Care Foundation to be part of her birthday celebration and foundation outreach at the IDP Camp, Area 1 Durumi, Abuja, held in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child.

It was such a heartwarming experience seeing the smiles and joy on the faces of the women and girls as we shared cooked meals, foodstuffs like rice, and sanitary pads. Truly, it was a day of hope, love, and impact. 🌸

I had the privilege of talking to the teenage girls on the topic “Becoming a Girl of Purpose – You Are More Than Your Situation.”
It was such an inspiring session as I reminded them that no matter where they are or what they go through, there’s greatness within them. Their background should not hold them back from becoming who God has destined them to be.

A very big thank you to the Founder of Joyful Impact Development Care Foundation for being a blessing and bringing smiles to the faces of over 500 women and girls.
God bless you richly and enlarge your vision. 🙏

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve, inspire, and touch lives.

That’s what she told me after meeting her on the online space. She had a lot of prestige and charisma.
A bright, talented young woman, holding it all together on the outside, but unraveling quietly within.
