“Building Responsive, Sustainable Health Systems: Leveraging Legislative Action for Digital Innovation, Human Capital, and Infrastructure for Universal Health Coverage (UHC)”

This strategic gathering brings together lawmakers, development partners, civil society organizations, and health advocates to shape policies that strengthen Nigeria’s health system, from primary healthcare to digital innovation, climate-resilient health financing, and Universal Health Coverage.

Over the past two days, Dcenturyvibes Global International Foundation proudly participated in the National Women Platform on Security Sector Reform and Governance, held in Abuja on the 24th and 25th of September, 2025.

This impactful program, convened by the National Women Platform in partnership with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Nigeria , focused on advancing gender-responsive security sector reform and governance in Nigeria. It provided a powerful platform to commemorate the International Day of Peace under the theme “She Speaks Peace.”

Our team at DGIF joined leading women advocates, policymakers, civil society leaders, and security experts in discussing and shaping strategies that break barriers, amplify women’s voices, and strengthen women’s leadership in peacebuilding, security sector governance, and reform processes.

We believe that sustainable peace and security cannot be achieved without women’s full and meaningful participation. DGIF remains committed to promoting gender equality, protecting women’s rights, and ensuring that women and girls are not only seen as beneficiaries but as active drivers of change in governance and security architecture.

We celebrate this collaboration and look forward to transforming the insights from this program into tangible actions in our communities. Kudos to our Founder and Executive Director Oluwafunke Olayemi for opening a channel for more partnership and collaboration WOMEN and GIRL CHILD RESCUE and DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE in achieving the SDGs.

Together, we can reshape Nigeria’s security and governance landscape by placing women at the center of decision-making.
