Good morning to you all friends and fans of Ruth Ikhabomeh Esq. Trust your day started blissfully.

This week on we're taking a look at some readily available homes remedies for Constipation and Indigestion.

Constipation affects roughly 20% of people in the United States, resulting in 8 million doctor visits per year.

People may experience constipation due to the foods they eat or avoid, their lifestyle choices, the medications they take, or the medical conditions they have. For many, the cause of their chronic constipation is unknown. This is known as chronic idiopathic constipation.

Here are a few reliable home remedies for constipation and indigestion.

1. Drink more water. Dehydration can cause constipation, so be sure to drink enough water.

2. Eat more fiber, especially soluble, non-fermentable fiber. Supplementing your diet with soluble non-fermentable fiber, such as psyllium, can also help.

3. Exercise more. Exercise may reduce the symptoms of constipation in some people.

4. Drink coffee, especially caffeinated coffee. Coffee can help relieve constipation by stimulating the muscles in the gut.

5. Over-the-counter or prescription laxatives
Laxatives are effective for relieving constipation. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist about the best ones to use.

6. Eat prebiotic foods. Prebiotics are an indigestible carbohydrate fiber. Prebiotic foods include: chicory, Jerusalem artichokes, garlic, onions, bananas, leeks, chickpeas. Etc

7. Try magnesium citrate. Magnesium citrate is a popular home remedy against constipation. It is a type of osmotic laxative that people can buy over the counter or online.

8. Try avoiding dairy. In people with an intolerance to it, eating dairy can cause constipation due to its effect on the gut’s movements.

Good afternoon friends and fans of Ruth Ikhabomeh Esq.
-----

On this week we're canvassing the possible red flags to lookout for when building a relationship.

A red flag is a warning pattern or sign, of potentially dangerous behavior from someone. Here's (9) red flags for you;

1. Love bombing and obsession. It manifests in excessive compliments, gifts, demand of attention, clinging, monitoring, and desperation.

2. Trample your principles and boundaries. Everyone has different physical, sexual, and mental boundaries as well as the principles that make our unique personalities. If they're constantly pressuring, threatening, blackmailing or coercing you into bending your boundaries or violating and dismissive of your principles, it’s a major early red flag in a relationship.

3. Psychic Jealousy. Psychic Jealousy is a combination of anxiety, insecurity, anger and fear. If they don’t want to hear your stories of past happy memories that don’t include them. Don’t like when you hang out with your friends. Talk bad about you, your family, or your friends. Try to overly control, demean, or disrespect you.

4. Negative mindset. If they always have a negative opinion about your choices or behavior, even if they say they’re joking. This could be everything from your clothing choices, favorite bands, to making fun of your career choices.

5. Unaccountability. If they never own up to and admit their faults and shortcomings. If they never assume blame for any episode with you or others. They make themselves seem the victim always in all their relationship past and present.

6. Selfishness. Selfishness is generally unwillingness to share and self-centeredness. If they don't ever look to share their time and resources with you in conversations, dates, planning together, gifting, and are obsessed with themselves, behave proudly and never apologise, never support your goals, leaving you in doubt of your position in their life.

Cancer is one of the commonest deceases ravaging the world today, as well as a leading cause of deaths today. Millions are lost yearly to different variations of cancer.

1. Don't use to***co: Using any type of to***co puts you on a collision course with cancer. Smoking has been linked to various types of cancer including cancer of the lung, mouth, throat, larynx, pancreas, bladder, cervix and kidney.

A jolly Afternoon to you all friends and fans of Ruth Ikhabomeh Esq. Trust your day has been rewarding.

This week on we're letting you in on some really reliable tips to spice up your relationship with.

Love is like a child that requires consistent nurturing. This is why people can fall so deeply in love with each other and even get married, but over time still fall out of love and then the relationship dies a natural death.

Here are (8) practical tips on nurturing your love and spicing up your relationship;
-----------

1. Spend some time apart. The truth is that it’s much harder to appreciate someone when you’re constantly around them.

2. Never stop Dating. Turn back the clock by dressing up for dinner and going to a restaurant as though you’re on a first date together.

7. Get intimate again. In order to feel that honeymoon phase with your partner again, make sure to find ways to touch your significant other throughout the day.

3. Unplug from your devices. Our phones are our best friends and our worst distractions. To avoid this mishap, detach from technology when trying to spend personal time together.

4. Create a new tradition. From trying a different coffee shop every month to participating in a scavenger hunt every fall, holding your relationship accountable to the traditions you choose does a lot.

5. Surprise one another. Along with flowers, surprising your partner with concert tickets, gifts or even a cleaned bathroom are other nice alternatives.

6. Put in effort to understand each other’s hobbies. The act of supporting your partner in the things they love is sweet, but the attempt to learn more about what they love is key.

8. Leave notes for them. stay spontaneous by constantly reminding your partners of your love for the by leaving your heartfelt messages for them to find as they go about their everyday business.

A pleasant afternoon to you all friends and family of Ruth Ikhabomeh. Trust you're all doing fabulously.

Last week we talked about the increasing spate of domestic violence and tried to ascertain the causes as well as the solutions.
---------

Just yesterday March 10th, a Nigerian man based in Australia, known as Stanley Obi was set ablaze by a Sarah Mugbo, a lady to whom he had been a s***m donor and had had three kids by him, in his home.

His offence is reported to be that he had jilted her for another woman by way of moving on. Unfortunately for her, she lost her life in the same fire incident.
-----------

Many ladies as well as men reacting to the reports on various blogs, have posited that he deserved his fate for leaving her after she gave him three children.

The thought provoking question for me here is; Is it that men are not equally at liberty to leave relationships which they feel no longer serve their interests? We know that women are often advised to divorce or jilt men who they as much as fall out of love with.

Please share with us, what are your thoughts and remarks on this matter?

Good evening to you all friends and fans of Ruth Ikhabomeh, trust your day has been fulfilling.

This week on we shall be looking at the Duties of a husband to his in-laws.
------------

You will all agree with me that here in our typical heterogeneous African societies the expectations and duties tend to vary from one culture to another, and thus there is really no uniformity in this regard.

While some may opine that the culture is the specific deterministic factor, some others might argue that it depends really on what agreements and arrangements is extant between respective spouses. Especially given that we're in an age where everyone is free to contract however they would.
-----------

Tell us what obtains in your unique culture or tradition.

Tell us also what is your opinion on the matter. Is a woman right to demand that her husband assumes responsibility for her parents?

How about her siblings?

If Yes, to what extents?

If No, we'd also like to know your cogent reasons.

Let's have a very civilised and mature discussion devoid of slurs and verbal abuses.

Look out for my own opinion in the comments section 👇🏽

What do you know about your liver and how to maintain it?
---------

The human liver is the largest organ in the human body and performs over 300 crucial functions, and its failure is usually fatal because no human can live without a liver for even a day.

Liver failure, damage or injury affects the liver functions (for example, manufacturing bile and ridding the body of harmful substances). Liver disease and damage is common and many live with it obliviously until it becomes fatal.

In the U.S., approximately 30 million people have some form of liver disease. More than 8,000 people in the U.S. received liver transplants in 2017, and more than 17,000 people are on the waiting list for a liver transplant.

Symptoms of liver injury, damage or failure includes nausea, bleeding, diarrhea, pain in the upper right quadrant, loss of appetite, and blood in the stool. If you notice any of these Symptoms concurrently, consult a doctor or hematologist immediately.
----------

Our focus however is on how to maintain and care for our liver to prevent injury, damage, diseases or failure whether chronic or acute. Here are few ways we can care for our liver;

- Being vaccinated for hepatitis B
- Cutting down on alcohol intake or better avoiding alcohol
- Maintaining a healthy nutritional, weight and active lifestyle.
- Exercising regularly
- Following directions when using medications like acetaminophen and not abusing drugs.
- Avoid certain medications that are toxic to the liver especially strong antibiotics.
- Liver examination every year for older people.
