Moringa leaves are one of the most nutrient-rich foods you can find right here in Africa.

Here are the real benefits:
Rich in vitamins & minerals
High in Vitamin A, C, E, iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium – more than many common fruits and vegetables.
Strong natural antioxidants
Helps the body fight daily damage and supports overall energy.
Supports healthy blood sugar
Can help keep blood sugar levels more balanced.
Good for heart health
The fibre and compounds may help lower cholesterol.
Reduces inflammation
Naturally calms swelling in the body.
Supports digestion
High fibre content helps with regular bowel movement and gut comfort.
Boosts immunity & energy
Gives the body the nutrients it needs to stay strong.
You can add fresh moringa leaves to your soup, blend them into juice, or use the powder in tea. It’s simple, local, and affordable.
Many families across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda already use it every day.

Did you know…
There’s a research study from 2014 where scientists gave 90 women (aged 45–55) just 7 grams of Moringa leaf powder every day for 3 months.
Now What happened?
Their blood antioxidant levels went up significantly (that means their body could fight damage and aging better).
Their fasting blood sugar dropped by 13.5% — from an average of 125.6 mg/dL down to 106.7 mg/dL.
All from a simple leaf that grows right here in Africa.
Moringa has been part of our grandparents’ kitchens for generations. Now science is showing why they trusted it.
You don’t need expensive supplements — just fresh moringa leaves or powder added to your soup, tea, or making it into juice can give your body real support.

Have you tried moringa before? Comment “RECIPE” if you want a simple way to add it to your daily routine.

Food Myths We Need to Clear Up! 🤔

If you’ve ever heard someone say, “Garri is bad for weight loss” or “Fufu causes bloating,” you’re not alone. These are some of the most common food myths going around, especially in our communities. Let's set the record straight!

Myth #1: Is Garri bad for weight loss?

❌ FALSE!
Many people believe that Garri is bad for weight loss, but that’s not true. We’ve been enjoying garri for generations!

✅ Here’s the truth:
Garri is a great source of energy when eaten in moderation. The key is balance. Pair it with vegetables and protein for a more complete and healthy meal. It's about how you eat it, not cutting it out completely!

Myth #2: Fufu causes bloating.

❌ FALSE!
Some people say fufu makes you feel bloated, but that’s only if you overeat it or pair it with the wrong foods.

✅ The truth:
Fufu is a solid source of carbs and energy. When you eat it with plenty of vegetables and lean meats or fish, you’re good to go. Don’t let the myths stop you from enjoying your favorite dish!

What you need to remember:

There’s no such thing as “bad” foods, just bad habits. Local foods like garri and fufu can be part of a healthy diet, as long as we eat them in the right way and balance them with the right foods.

Have a food myth you’ve heard and want to know if it’s true?
