Treat your spouse well.

Parenting is a season. Children grow, find their paths, and eventually build lives of their own.
But when the house grows quieter and the routines change, it is your spouse who remains beside you.

That’s why how you treat your partner now matters.

Love is not only shown in big moments—it is built in daily choices: respect in disagreements, kindness in tired seasons, patience when life feels overwhelming, and intentional effort when taking each other for granted would be easier.

A healthy marriage is not sustained by children, money, or shared responsibilities alone. It is sustained by friendship, emotional safety, forgiveness, and continued investment in each other’s wellbeing.

One day, the children will leave.
What will remain is the quality of the relationship you nurtured when life was busy.

Choose today to speak gently, listen intentionally, apologise freely, and love deliberately—so that when the parenting chapter closes, your companionship chapter is strong, joyful, and secure.

Banning girls and women from education in Afghanistan is a violation of basic human rights. Education is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right. A nation cannot progress while silencing half its population.

There is no justification, cultural, religious, or political for denying women access to education. This decision by the authorities under the Taliban is a tragedy for girls today and a disaster for the future of the country.

This is not governance. This is oppression. Permanently banning girls from school is an attack on freedom, dignity, and humanity itself. The world must stop normalising cruelty disguised as policy.

The international community must do more than ‘condemn’ this decision. Girls in Afghanistan deserve education, safety, and hope not permanent exclusion. Silence is complicity.

When you ban girls from school, you don’t protect culture, you destroy the future.

“I Stayed Because I Had Children.”😳🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

This sentence carries the weight of fear, sacrifice, and silent endurance. Many survivors remain in abusive relationships not because they are weak, but because they are trying—desperately—to protect their children.

They stay because they fear tearing the family apart. Because they believe a broken home will hurt more than a violent one. Because they hope tomorrow will be different, that apologies will finally turn into change. They stay because school fees must be paid, food must be put on the table, and the children need a roof over their heads. Survival becomes the priority.

But staying often comes at a hidden cost.

Children don’t need to be hit to be harmed. They feel the tension. They hear the shouting. They see the tears wiped away behind forced smiles. They learn, silently, that love means pain, that silence means peace, and that endurance means strength—even when it is hurting them.

Many parents stay because they are told:
• “Children need both parents.”
• “You can endure it for their sake.”
• “It’s better than raising them alone.”

Yet children need safety, not sacrifice that destroys their parent.
They need peace, not a home filled with fear.
They need a healthy role model, not a lesson that abuse must be tolerated.

Staying “for the children” is often rooted in love—but love should not demand self-destruction. Protecting children also means protecting yourself, because a parent’s wellbeing shapes a child’s future.

Choosing to leave is not failure.
It is courage.
It is breaking a cycle.
It is teaching children that love should never hurt.

If you stayed because you had children, you did what you thought was best at the time. There is no shame in that. But there is also no shame in choosing a safer path—at any point.

Your life matters.
Your peace matters.
And your children deserve to see you whole, alive, and free.

It’s my Starboy’s Birthday today, My God, You have continuously proven that YOU alone is GOD BY YOURSELF. 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃

Today, my heart overflows with gratitude to God for the gift of you. Twelve years ago, God blessed my life with a kind, intelligent, courageous, and loving son and every day since then, you have continued to make me proud.

Michael(Chocho), you are growing not just in age, but in wisdom, strength, compassion, and purpose. Watching you discover who you are becoming and the talent God has embedded in you, fills me with so much joy and hope. Always remember that you are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and destined for greatness, so step out everyday of your life in the fear of God and possess your possessions.

Our Mbapye, I pray that God surrounds you with His protection always. May He guide your steps, sharpen your mind, strengthen your character, and fill your heart with courage and kindness. May you walk in wisdom beyond your years, find favor wherever you go, and never doubt your worth. I pray that your dreams align with God’s purpose for your life, and that you grow into a man of integrity, compassion, humility, respect for humanity and strength. May joy, peace, and excellence follow you all the days of your life. Amen. No weapon fashioned against you shall ever prosper Amen.

Happy Birthday, my son and keep making us proud. The world SHALL celebrate you on the world stage. Our God always on point.
