_A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE SECOND GENERAL MEETING_

The meeting was called to order by Engr Chika Okeoma(coordinator) with a brief prayer by Mr. Ejezube Henry at exactly 3:20PM.

Afterwards, a brief of the previous meeting on Jun 27, 2020 was delivered by the coordinator which led to a formal introduction of members present. Also, he (coordinator) announced to the house the new way of greeting (GREAT VOLUNTEER! SERVICE TO HUMANITY) and the orientation behind it.

The next agenda was that of the Restructuring and Balancing of various available offices, many suggestions were giving on how the elections should be held although, we came into agreement of a direct election and by towns zoning(to the 10 Towns of the LGA).

The coordinator gave a strategic plan on visitation for support from personnel's from various spheres of Ihiala LGA and beyond.

Issues on financing, uniform, sensitization and the need for zealous membership amongst others was addressed by the Coordinator.

Mr Ejezube Henry was appointed as the Electoral Coordinator by the Coordinator before the elections (direct election by zoning as aforementioned).

*Introduction*
Mr. Emmanuel Orji, Mrs. Ruth Treasure, Dr. Chika Godwin Okereke, Richard Precious.

*Opening Remark by the coordinator:*

The coordinator started by greeting and thanking everyone for coming. He went ahead to introduce the organization formally to everyone present. He effected the change of name which was formally COVID19 Team but now IDVCT (Infectious Disease Volunteer Community Team).

Agenda:

Getting more Volunteers within the LGA.. Dr Chika said we should task ourselves and involved people of noble character and not just anyhow persons to the movement.

Mrs. Ruth Treasure talked about mobilization of more Volunteers for effectiveness of the organization.

Richard Precious talked about appointment of the LGA executives that will help set up this team in our various town within the LGA.

Regarding to the above submission the house agreed that the LGA coordinator should select his offices.

Which resulted to:

Mr. Emmanuel Orji - Fin. Secretary.

The Coordinator talked about the inauguration at the state level which will bring about the work of the organization into full force.
Dr. Chika also added that we need to deploy more Volunteers both in our market place and also in our churches that this will enable the effectiveness of the organization work!

Richard Precious asked when our next physical meeting will be and pleading that we should try and measure up in the numerical strength of the organization in our LGA... The house concluded on having another physical meeting on the 12th of July 2020! @ the same venue also at 5:00pm.

The Coordinator thank everyone for making out time to come and prayed that God will keep blessing and enabling us with strength to carry the great work being commissioned into our hands.

The minute of the meeting IDCVT Anaocha Chapter,which formally known as NVG held on 6th July 2020 at Local Government Headquarters,Neni.
Precisely, the meeting started by 11:26am with Nine (9) physically volunteers present. Next Mr Obiora Chukwuemeka led us in opening prayers.
Then Remark made by the coordinator Miss Ofodum Chinyere,which she firstly acknowledged every member for attending the meeting and politely urged every member to introduce themselves. There after she gave us brief history of the team and reasons for changing the name of the team from NVG (National Volunteer Group on Covid-19 )to IDCVT (Infectious Disease Control Volunteer Team Anambra ).She said that changing of name of the team is to retain the relevancy of this Group after Covid-19.
Then Hon Onyemechalu Chijioke (Member) highlighted the importance of teamwork,on his speech he utter categorically that for organization to move smoothly and successfully,teamwork is imperative that's to say very important and ought to be adopted. He also pleaded that he would like us to adopt the idea of teamwork in order to carry everybody along.he further advise on diligency and transparency to every member of this team /forum.
Mrs Alokwem Oluebube (member and Public health officer) enlightened us about the covid-19 pandemic disease that currently ravaging the whole world,she mentioned how covid-19 is Transmitted, the symptoms and the preventive measures such as wearing of face masks,common use of alcoholic hand sanitizer and to always maintain physical and social distance.
Finally Flip chart on Covid -19 for community volunteers was shared among the members that were physically present in the meeting and meeting ended exactly by 12:30pm And closing prayer was said by mr udoh uchechukwu k. as directed by the coordinator.

*Opening Prayer:* Mr Tosan Victor (LGA Coordinator) led in worship while Uzor Amara said the prayers.

*Introduction of Volunteers;* Mr Tosan Victor opened the floor and asked everybody to introduce themselves with their names and wards, after he kick-started with himself.

*Opening Remarks*; Mr Tosan Victor First of and foremost welcomed us all and sent us the greetings from the benefactor *Dr Onyeka Ibezim* our state coordinator * Mr Isreal Ben* which was accepted by the volunteers. He now went furtherto talk us through that infectious disease control volunteer team has come to stay, even after Post-Covid 19 that the team will still be functioning. He equally talked about the responsibilities of a volunteer and then went further to explain the change of name from *National Volunteer Group* (NGV) to *Infectious Disease Control Volunteer Team*.
He equally spoke to us about the materials on ground (T-shirt, Caps, face masks etc).
After that Mr Victor Tosan introduce the *Teams Slogan* to us which is _"Great Volunteers Service to Humanity"_
After that he did a roll-call of the people in each wards starting from Amawbia, Awka,Umuawulu to Nibo etc. He equally talked about the *Structure of Leadership* in the organization which is "*State Coordinators, Zonal Coordinator, Local Government Coordinator and the Volunteers*".
After that Mr Victor Tosan called Mr Michael to give us some tips on voluntary work, which he did by telling us what Voluntary Movement entails and his reasons for doing what he is doing that we should always keep pushing and community conscious.
He thanked the elders in the house for being here and being and an Idea Role Model to this our young generation. While we're waiting for the facilitator on Training Section we boarded straight to the appointments.
*Appointment of Executives*; This session was equally anchored by Mr Victor Tosan. He Still reminded us that a volunteer "Makes a Difference" and that they "Don't force a Volunteer" and still said that there's always "A Room for Replacement"
Individual Wards Choose their Leaders and Awka Ward 4,5 and 6 doesn't have anybody yet to represent them and we left it pending.

*Note;* Every ward coordinator was given a ultimum of at least one month to get their secretary and assistance. Coordinator Ward 2: Thanked the organizers of the event and asked if there's a limit on volunteers to raise and Mr Victor said no.
*Training Session;* our facilitator for the day, Dr Chukwuma Emegbolo who's on a tight schedule, quickly greeted us and delved into the Basics of Covid 19, (the symptoms and prevention).

he equally adopted this slogan "Women avoid Men" (Mouth, Eyes and Nose). He equally emphasized on social distancing hand-washing and seriously reminded us to always wear our face masks (Whenever we're talking, we release 20 droplets imagine being in a crowd and still not wearing a face mask or something).
He demonstrated with a Ward Coordinator on how to wash our hands. He said that if you're asthmatic, hypertensive and diabetic that you are open to this very disease and really need to have keep checking yourself up. So he said that the basic thing to know about in this Covid 19 is IFC (infection prevention and control). Mr Solomon talked to us about boosting the immune system with Vegetables and fruits etc
*A.O.B (Any Other Business)*; It was a Question and Answer Period.
Mr Christopher complained about receiving the message concerning this meeting 20mins before the set time and that something should be done about that. Mr Victor your question apologized and told him that something must be done about it.

And he equally talked that social distancing is not been observed here in Anambra state which was seconded by Mr Amobi Ozoh, who still went ahead to say that wearing of face mask is not taken serious in churches In turn, Mr Victor answer that's why we're here,to orient people and make a difference by visiting the Churches, parks, markets and streets and educate on Covid 19.
Mr Tosan Victor threw a question to us as an ID CVT Volunteer what's our " Job Description" and we answered first to *Sanitize* people and give them materials. Okafor Gabriel said that if we must go to work you must go with materials and that was seconded by Mr Tosan Victor, that we can't go out with materials of course.
My Tosan Victor deeply appreciated everyone and said it's going to get better soon and equally talked us to give, make free will donations to be of help in any way.
*Closing Remarks*: Mr Keshekah Monday anchored this session by sincerely thanking the organizers (Dr China) and our great Coordinator (Mr Tosan) some picture for organising this meeting and for everyone who is here admist our individually activities.I say abig "thank you"
Mr Tosan shared some books to each Ward but then some wards are yet to received theirs, which will be taken care of.

*IDCVT IDEMILI SOUTH FIRST PHYSICAL MEETING HELD ON 3RD OF JULY, 2020*.
The meeting started with an opening prayer by Mrs Nkechi Okpala by exactly 11:05 am. The following is the agenda for the meeting;
1. Opening prayer
2. Introduction by members.
3. Opening remark by the coordinator
4. Deliberations on; recruiting of more members, suggestions on how to move the team forward, ideas on stakeholders in Idemili South, discussion on the forthcoming inauguration.
5. Appointment of executive team.
6. Any Other Business (A. O. B)
7. Adjournment and closing prayer.
The meeting started with over 20 in attendance. The members introduced themselves and opening remark by the coordinator followed as well. The coordinator, Miss Maryjane welcomed everyone to the meeting and stated the reason for the meeting. She also applauded the members for coming to the meeting and for keeping to time as well.
As the meeting progresses, one of the members, Mr Obumneme Timothy by name asked a very relevant question concerning whether the group is the same with another group (on covid 19) formed by the LGA which he attended a meeting the previous Monday at Ojoto, LGA headquarters. The question was answered by the coordinator thereby attesting to the difference in both groups.
Mr Obumneme further stated that in order for the group to appear organized a lot of things are to be put in place, for instance *determining the number of members each ward in the LGA are to provide, provision of PPE (personal protective equipments like facemasks etc.), mobilization incentives (transportation fare etc) and other materials needed for effective community sensitization*.
The next topic of discussion was the forthcoming inauguration of coordinators. The coordinator further explain the reason why the LGAs coordinators were to be inaugurated first. As a result of not violating the NCDC guidelines on *minimum of 30 persons* gathering in an enclosed circle, it was necessary to conduct an inauguration for the LGAs coordinators first before fixing dates for other LGA independent inauguration.
Appointment of executives: The executive team was formed as a result of volunteered efforts. Some members volunteered their services in other to help elevate the capacity of the coordinator. The following positions was listed and was occupied;
1. Deputy coordinator *Mr Nwokolo Clinton Kosisochukwu*
2. Secretary * Miss Ahamefuna Chinwedu*
3. Financial Secretary *Mr Obumneme Timothy*
4. Publicity Secretary *Mr Maruchukwu Okwuchukwu*

A. O. B : Issues like means of identification was raised. The coordinator shared the pictures of the uniform and face mask to be used for sensitization programme and also stated that preparation for identification cards were being put in place.
One of the elderly member stated the need for religious bodies to be duly informed of the need for face masks and social distancing in places of worship.
The need for transportation means/fares was hammered on once again. The reason being that members can only attend meetings if necessary provisions are made for them so as to avoid unwarranted inconveniences, financially or otherwise.
Motion for adjournment was moved by Mr Obumneme Timothy and it was seconded by Mr Maruchukwu Okwuchukwu.
The closing prayer was said and the meeting ended at exactly 1: 25 pm.

Reporting from I.D.C.V.T Ekwusigo Local Government Chapter.
Our physical meeting was held yesterday, though it was disturbed by rainfall, which start some minutes before the proposed time (4:00pm). Which made many people who intended to come not to make it to the venue.
Our meeting start with opening prayers at exactly 4:15pm by our coordinator Hon. Muoma Peter.We started with introduction of volunteers present, which we had two volunteers from Oraifite,one from Ozubulu and one from Ichi.
Mission, vision, goals and objectives of the union was explained to the members present.
Questions and interactions was allowed,then the meeting came to an end at exactly 5:30pm,due to bad weather,and we adjourned our meeting till next week,same venue and time (Orafite Civic Center,by 4:00pm).

*OGBARU LGA FIRST OFFLINE MEETING* ...

The minutes of the meeting of IDCVT held on 30th day of June 2020. An opening prayer was said by pastor from Okpoko 5. Opening remark by Vivian (Ogbaru LGA Coordinator), stating that all members in attendance should introduce his or herself before other members. I further explained details of our responsibilities as members, I also informed them the reason for the change of name (from NVG - National Volunteer Group on Covid-19 to I.D.C.V.T - Infection disease control Volunteer team).

Ekechi Martin after introduction, he addressed the colleague's motivating them so work effectively in their various wards should have cove out the Outbreak of the disease called Covid-19. He further gives reason why Communities must participate effectively towards ensuring that the disease we are controlled spending when the proper drugs for the treatment of the disease is produced by the authorities. he equally advised colleagues to be punctual in this project and to ensure intensive training teaching or lecturing on the preventive measures such as wearing of face masks, common use of hand sanitizer and constants neatness in the premises.

Valentine from Okpoko 6 while appreciating the local government coordinator stated that some people doesn't use make use of face mask effectively as directed by the authorities, a further educate colleagues to spread the information on proper way of using face mask to avoid contaminating the so-called disease known as covid-19.

Vivian (Ogbaru LGA Coordinator) while trying to comment on the issues raised so far, further states that our benefactors in is seriously interested on does putting this work into control. Face mask with some items will be given to us to share in our various words but we cannot wait for that one to be provided why the authorities rather make efforts to source funds in our various community. She further said that the letter heading is out so that we can write to organisation individual and politicians among others.

Okpoko member of the team while supporting the issues raised further advice they colleagues stating that when educating ward members should please introduce them with sanitizer, face mask and that they should constantly wash their hands. The issue of source of fund is very important because it will promote the service effectively.

Ekechi Martin stands up to address the fund issue raised. Stating that the state coordinator should give us introductory letter with letter heading, ID card and subsequent others to enable us do the job perfectly, he further said that some organisation may be interested to support but demand for the account details bearing the names of the subheading of the letter as may be forwarded by the state coordinator.

Ogwuekpere member stated that most of the activities that doesn't pay is always hard for people to comply. Face mask, hand sanitizer and buckets, if possible government should at least support the masses with it and it will equally help us to do the campaign effectively. Most of the countries that are affected by the disease do share the items. He further encourages members while addressing understand apply neatness because neatness is the most solution to the disease.

On the process the zonal coordinator arrived, Vivian (Ogbaru coordinator) after introducing the zonal coordinator (Henry Nwankwo)... Henry Nwankwo after greeting the Volunteers, advise the masses to put more effort towards fighting the disease, that he is happy because in Nigeria individual corporate to volunteer themselves but government support is not much available. Outside the Country government is ready to support but nobody is ready to volunteer themselves for the service. He further praises state that the program is not political program. That whenever anything is brought to share to the community that it should be shared accordingly.

He further praise Vivian (Ogbaru coordinator) for acting towards the instruction given by the state coordinator and equally appeal to the member that t-shirt, cap and some other items bearing the name I.D.C.V.T shall be distributed among members to help fasting the job effectively as part of the materials that will help to control covid-19.

ORUMBA SOUTH IDCVT MEETING HELD YESTERDAY AT ST PATRICK'S OGBUNKA

Opening Remark was observed by the coordinator in which he appreciate everyone that make out their time to attend the meeting

Reason for the Change of Name from NVG to IDCVT was explained and well accepted

The coordinator also thought them our Slogan which they learnt very well

Reason for the delay of activities since we started was also explained... And word of encouragement was given

Updates on our proposed Inauguration was given and was accepted with Joy

Mini Training was conducted and the coordinator presented the flip chart to Town Coordinators present

IDCVT OSHA SOUTH MEETING SUMMARY REPORT ON HOW TO CONTROL INFECTIOUS DISEASES IN THE LGA

Venue: St. Monica's Church, Woliwo,Onitsha.
Meeting Agendas:

The first meeting of Onitsha south volunteers to help in mobilization of necessary items and informations necessary for the control of infectious diseases in onitsha south LGA, coordinated by Comrade Churchill Ogubude started by 1:05pm. People in attendance were 16 in number.
Opening prayer was said by Mrs. Ezeanozie. Followed by opening remark by the Onitsha South Cordinator Comrade Churchill Ogubude.
Introduction of Members by themselves came after the opening remark.
Comrade Churchill Ogubude went on to elaborate more on the meeting Agenda. At this point he explained how the purpose for this movement and why it is set up. He also talked on how the volunteers will be accountable to the state government and brains behind this program after each day of assignments because there will be a strict supervision towards volunteers activities.
However, he made mention finding a mode for clear identification for warm welcoming by the people that are dominating places volunteers might visit. He also made mention of the challenges facing the movement. He never ceased to thank the state coordinator and the deputy on how they successfully brought this volunteer team to this level
Furthermore, comrade Churchill, told us about the inauguration that is at hand. in which 21 LGA coordinators and 3 zonal coordinators will be inducted and finally he explained the usefulness of flip chart.
Anambra north coordinator representative Charles Agbaegbu also explained more on what comrade Churchill has spoken on. Questions where asked.
