POV: When my family members come to me with their medical issues as a student nurse 😭😂

I’ll listen, I’ll check small things, I’ll even give basic advice… but one thing I must say is: please go to the hospital and get properly diagnosed

Because not everything you see at home can be fully treated at home. Some symptoms need proper tests, professional review, and accurate diagnosis. I’m still learning, not your final stop 😭

First day in psych ward… and my mind is already expanding

Today marked the beginning of my psychiatric posting, and honestly, it’s more than just wearing the uniform. it’s stepping into a world where empathy, patience, and understanding matter just as much as clinical skills. Every patient has a story, and every story deserves to be heard without judgment. This experience is already teaching me that mental health is just as important as physical health and as a student nurse, I’m here to learn, grow, and care with compassion.
