Your kidneys work silently every day, take care of them before problems start.

13/03/2026

Your kidneys work for you every day… but many people don’t notice when something is wrong.

Today is World Kidney Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of kidney health and how to prevent kidney disease.

Your kidneys are two small but powerful organs that help keep your body healthy. They work quietly every day to:
1.Remove waste and toxins from the blood
2.Balance body fluids
3.Help control blood pressure
4.Support the production of red blood cells
Because kidneys work silently, many people do not notice problems until the disease becomes serious.

👉 Signs Your Kidneys May Not Be Working Well
Some warning signs may include:
1.Swelling of the legs, feet, or face
2.Frequent urination, especially at night
3.Foamy or bubbly urine
4.Persistent tiredness or weakness
5.Loss of appetite
6.Difficulty concentrating
Having these symptoms does not always mean kidney disease, but they are important signs that should not be ignored.

👉How to Protect Your Kidneys
The good news is that many kidney problems can be prevented with healthy habits, such as:
1. Drinking enough clean water
2. Maintaining healthy blood pressure
3. Managing diabetes properly
4. Avoiding excessive use of pain medications without medical advice
5. Eating a balanced diet with less salt
6. Going for regular health check-ups

👉A Simple Reminder
Your kidneys work 24 hours a day to keep your body clean and balanced. Taking care of them today can help prevent serious health problems in the future.
As we observe World Kidney Day, let us remember that; Healthy kidneys mean a healthier life.

It’s just period pain…But What If It’s Something More?

Many women grow up hearing this:
“Menstrual pain is normal, just endure it.”
But for some women, the pain is far beyond normal cramps. It can be so severe that it affects work, school, relationships, and daily life. One possible reason for this is Endometriosis.

What Is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the womb, such as on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or other parts of the pelvis.
Just like the lining of the womb, this tissue responds to hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle. However, because it is outside the uterus, it can cause inflammation, pain, and sometimes scar tissue.
👉Symptoms Many Women Experience
Women with endometriosis may have:Severe menstrual crampsHeavy or irregular periodsChronic pelvic painPain during or after sexual in*******sePain during bowel movement or urination during menstruationDifficulty becoming pregnant.

It is important to understand that not every painful period means endometriosis, but persistent and severe pain should never be ignored.

Many women live with symptoms of endometriosis for years before getting a diagnosis, often because period pain is normalized.

✨If menstrual pain is severe enough to interfere with your daily activities, it is important to seek medical advice. Listening to your body and speaking up about your symptoms can make a difference.
let us encourage open conversations about menstrual health and support women who may be struggling silently.
Because no woman should have to live in constant pain believing it is normal.

My child has been sleeping for too long… please help👇

While scrolling on Facebook recently, I came across a heartbreaking post.
A mother was crying and begging for help. She said her little boy had been sleeping for too long after she gave him a drug just to make him sleep.
According to her, the child had been disturbing her and refusing to sleep. Out of frustration and tiredness, she decided to give him a sleeping medicine.
But after taking the drug, the boy slept… and kept sleeping for hours longer than usual.
Now the mother was scared.
She kept asking: “Please what should I do? My child has not woken up.”

Stories like this remind us of something very important.
Children should not be given medications just to make them sleep.
👉A child that refuses to sleep may be:HungryTeethingUncomfortableSickGoing through a normal growth stage

Giving medicines without proper medical advice can sometimes cause dangerous reactions in children.
Some drugs can make a child too drowsy and affect breathing, especially when the dose is wrong.
👉What parents should do instead;Create a regular bedtime routineMake sure the child is well fed Keep the sleeping environment calm Check if the child is sick or uncomfortable

✨If your child continues to have serious sleep problems, it is best to consult a healthcare professional rather than giving medications on your own.
Not every crying or restless child needs medicine.
Sometimes they simply need patience, comfort, and proper care.

Celebrating the Strength of Women ❣️❣️.

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, a day to honor the strength, resilience, and beauty of women everywhere.
Women play many powerful roles in society.
A woman can be a mother, caregiver, professional, teacher, leader, and supporter all at the same time. Every day, women continue to nurture families, build communities, and inspire the next generation.
