The stone in his heart part 2
The old man picked up a small stone and placed it in Daniel’s hand.
“Carry this with you everywhere for one week,” he said.
Daniel agreed.
At first, it felt easy. But as days passed, the stone became annoying. It was always in his hand, stopping him from doing things freely. His hand became tired.
After one week, Daniel ran back to the old man.
“I’m tired of carrying this stone!” he complained.
The old man smiled gently and said:
“That stone is what unforgiveness feels like in your heart. The longer you carry it, the heavier it becomes.”
Daniel went quiet.
That night, he thought deeply. The pain was real—but the burden was now hurting him more than anyone else.
The next day, Daniel walked up to Michael.
“I was really hurt,” he said. “But I don’t want to carry this anymore. I forgive you.”
Michael’s eyes filled with tears. He apologized sincerely.
And just like that, the stone in Daniel’s heart disappeared.
