Empowering girls through skills, confidence, and sustainability! 🌸✨

The Lagos State Ministry of Health, in partnership with Alora Reusable Pads, hosted an impactful Menstrual Hygiene and Reusable Pad-Making Workshop for in-school adolescent girls from Amuwo Senior Grammar School, Amuwo Junior Grammar School, and Awori Ajeromi Senior Grammar School in the Lagos West Senatorial District.

The one-day session equipped the girls with hands-on skills in making reusable sanitary pads, alongside education on menstrual hygiene practices and sustainable period care.

Each participant proudly made her own reusable pad and learned how to care for it safely — boosting their confidence and understanding that menstruation should never be a barrier to education or dignity. 💪🏽

Special appreciation to our dedicated Alora volunteers for their passion and commitment in guiding and inspiring the girls. The joy and excitement on their faces remind us why menstrual health education truly matters. ❤️

This initiative is part of Alora’s ongoing effort to promote menstrual equity and sustainability among young girls across Nigeria.
