I want to keep you updated on the story of Vivian Ukuva who needs N1.5m to remove a brain tumor. Three months ago, I solicited support for her through DR SIMON LIM foundation for preliminary medical investigations worth N120,000, and we were successful.
The MRI results(2nd pic ) has been out with the disc that was read by the doctor to conclude that she needs a timely surgery to avert the worse.
Her present predicament is that she constantly has headaches, can't stay outdoors, especially in noisy environments, and she is now almost dependent on painkillers.
The medical bill mentioned above is the fairest we could find in the country, which is in Zaria, not forgetting that public hospitals are not fully functional due to a strike.
Please, let's donate to this cause to ease this young woman's pain.

Even physiotherapy I was supposed to be doing too I couldn't because of financial issues".

This 25 year old's life is almost coming to a halt as his spinal cord injury of over 7 months is unattended to. That is a red flag already.
Please let's do something to assist him as Ukan Kurugh Ukan P Kurugh whom he desperately wants his voice on this is overwhelmed with many cases.

Ayangealu Tyotsugh had his school fees of N54,390 paid by DR SIMON LIM foundation .
He was enrolled under the scholarship scheme in his first year and is now in his final year, studying Agribusiness Management at J.S Tarka University Makurdi, Benue state.
The foundation hopes to support him beyond his first degree as he has shown commitment and excellent academic performance.
We will continue to advocate for the investment in education to build the society we desire in future.

I was honoured with the award of 'Education Enabler' by Buruku Concerned Elites Initiative.
My humanitarian strides have been achieved through the instrumentality of DR SIMON LIM foundation, where 10 Buruku indigenes are beneficiaries of our scholarship scheme. 8 of these beneficiaries are in tertiary institutions; 3 of which have graduated this year, 2025.
It's worthy to note that other Benue indigenes are under the scheme totalling 19 and foundation hopes to have more coverage for the poor and vulnerable in the future.
The award is dedicated to the pioneer president of Buruku Concerned Elites Initiative, late Desmond Ikyume, our committed donors and partners.

"In the year 2019 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour at Ahmadu Bello University teaching Hospital Zaria, which I went for brain surgery on June 24th 2021, after the surgery I started experiencing headache again which I was asked to carry out a new MRI scan and it was discovered that there was a mistake that needs to be collected which I was booked for another surgery but due to lack of money I was unable to go forth with it, now the tumour is back and I'm in so much pain is affecting my body, my hands, head and eyes I have not been able to sleep for three weeks that is why I'm here begging you to help even if it's MRI scan money I will be great full, I can't see doctor without MRI scan that is the only access to the brain. MRI is N85,000 while the surgery is N1.5m".

Yesterday, DR SIMON LIM foundation finally delivered 7 dozens of 40 leaves, 4 packs of 4 dozens of pens, 2 packs of sharpeners, and 75 erasers to the pupils of LGEA Nursery and Primary School Adum-Oye, Oju Local Government, Benue State.
Our volunteer had a delivery challenge for days due to the heavy down pour that made the road impassable. The learning materials are grossly inadequate but they will serve their immediate need. They don't have desk and chairs, school shoes, uniform etc but we had to give our meager support to cushion the effect.
We hope that individuals, Organizations and even the Government will see their plight and act promptly to give them a promising future through education.

The current pictures of Suurshater Aondoaver speak volumes. His liver and kidney are still fine based on the tests that were done, but the tumor is growing aggressively.
He has hyperthermia, fatigue, and weight loss that need the attention of a pediatric oncologist as soon as possible.
It's difficult to tell how much will be needed because it's only when the specialist examines him that a bill can be known but he needs approximately N200,000 for travel, feeding and initial hospital visit.

Suurshater Aondoaver's nephroblastoma has returned aggressively. The management of his condition has been very poor due to a lack of money and untimely intervention.
I first came across this case in 2024, where I took him to National Hospital, Abuja, to have the Wilms tumor removed with six sessions of chemotherapy. The treatment, medication, transportation, feeding, admission, etc., cost over N1.6 million.
The 10-year-old boy's mother sent his recent picture for an update on his current condition with complaints of hyperthermia and arthralgia.
DR SIMON LIM foundation has exhausted all its finances on this case and does not know how to carry on unless there is an intervention from the public.
He needs to return to the hospital as soon as possible to access treatment that will ease the pain and control the cancer growth.
