The Geo Tagging excercise carried out by the SDG/NYSC Advocacy Group in Collaboration with With Goggle Africa and Gombe Hikers/Clycling Association with the aim of updating the status of Gombe Town on the Goggle Map thereby archiving a sustainable city as it's implies on the SDGs' Global Goal 11, and Parthnaship For the Goals as it is in Global Goal 17, was a great success.

The NYSC/SDG Advocacy Group of Gombe SDG PSU, toured round three Secondary Schools in Gombe Metropolis namely; GDSS Gandu, GDSS Orji, and Joy Academy to ascertain the level of progess so far since the official launching of the G17 Club for which aimed at teaching and exposing students of secondary and tertiary schools to the global goals thereby ensuring it getting to the grassroot..

17th September 2018 marks the official kickstart of the 2017CGS project of the SDGs in Gombe state. Where the Management and Technical Team of the SDGs Gombe Project Support Unit along side Gombe State Ministry of Health, Benficial Local govt council and the contractors moved to observe the handing over of project site or location to the contractor for onward construction activity to build a Doctor's Residence and Junior staff quarters in General Hospital Dukku and a block of 3 classrooms in wuro Jumbo all in Dukku L.G.A
