Vacancy: MEDICAL PORTER
Location: Adeoyo, Ringroad, Ibadan
Employment Type: Full-time
Resumption: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport patients within diagnostic units, and other facility areas.

Assist patients with mobility while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety.

Move medical equipment and supplies as required.

Maintain cleanliness of trolleys, wheelchairs, and assigned equipment.

Respond promptly to emergency transport requests.

Observe strict patient confidentiality and hospital policies.

Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff.

Requirements

Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).

Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and respect for patient privacy.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an added advantage.

Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Competencies

Compassion and patience.

Attention to detail.

Good interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Nursing Officer

Location: Adeoyo off Ring Road, Oyo State

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient clinical care, including assessments, and follow-ups.

• Monitor patient progress in compliance with medical protocols.

• Educate patients and families on diagnostic protocols, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Assist in the planning and implementation of health outreach programs and medical missions.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.

• Participate in training sessions, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a primary/community health, private or non-profit setting.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary healthcare.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to patient advocacy.

VACANCY: Facility Officer

Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation, Ibadan is seeking a Facility Officer with strong technical skills to support the smooth running of our medical facility.

1. Required Technical Skills (at least one): Electrical maintenance, Plumbing, Carpentry, tiling, or other relevant vocational/technical skills suitable for a Nigerian medical facility.

2. Ability to troubleshoot facility faults promptly

3. Basic understanding of safety standards in a healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work under supervision to carry out routine maintenance and repairs.
2. Respond to facility-related issues swiftly
3. Support the Facility & Admin unit in ensuring a safe, functional work environment
4. Assist with inventory of maintenance tools and supplies
5. Ensure timely reporting of faults, risks, and required repairs

Qualifications & Experience:

Access to Basic (medical) Care Foundation, a licensed Not-for-Profit Health Organisation, which has been in operations since 2012; providing Cancer advocacy, Basic primary health intervention, Medical Laboratory Diagnostics and Radio-Diagnostics services in Oyo state is hiring Medical Officers.

Salary: N300,000 - 350,000 Monthly.
Location: Ringroad,Ibadan.
Employment Type: Flexible Full-time(( One day ON - One day OFF mode, Half Days on alternate Saturdays, No calls On Sundays)

Basic Requirements:

• A Medical Degree from an accredited institution.

• Valid medical license.

• Proven 1 - 2 years post NYSC experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
