Burning The Price For Shining.

John 5:30-36
He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in His light. John 5:35.
John the Baptist was a man who lived his life according to the purpose of God. The scripture above described him as a burning and shinning light. His shinning light came at a cost. He paid the price. The cost of shinning is burning. Many people want to glow in life and destiny without the heat of the furnace of God. There can be no sparkle for men to see where there are no sparks. We must be ready to allow the Holy Spirit to do a thorough work of breaking us and forging Christ's life into us.
Let the truth of God's unchanging word have it way in your life, your thoughts, hopes, aspirations, opinions, attitudes, behaviours, family, friendships, and your associates. Then Jesu will give the same testimony about you as He did for John.
My Heavenly Father, make me great in your kingdom. Let my life be set aglow by your Spirit through Your Word.
Let me shine Your light for the world to see in Jesus name 🙏.
