One of the strategies the devil uses is to present a counterfeit ahead of God’s original plan.

The counterfeit usually looks very good. It looks attractive. It looks exactly like what we prayed for. Sometimes it even comes faster than we expected. But that is the trap. It comes to distract us from the real miracle God is preparing..

Not everything that glitters is God’s will.
Sometimes we accept things because they look like answered prayers, but deep inside, there is no peace. The counterfeit drains us, delays us, and keeps us stuck. And the truth is, it takes the grace of God to be delivered from it. Because when someone is already attached emotionally, financially, or spiritually, it becomes difficult to let go.
But hear me clearly:
If it is not from God, it is not worth keeping.

If you feel you may have accepted a counterfeit — a relationship, opportunity, business deal, or decision that is taking you away from God’s peace — don’t be ashamed. Go back to God. Ask for clarity. Ask for courage. Ask for grace to let go.

Freedom starts with surrender.

Choose God’s original plan over a temporary imitation. The original may take time, but it comes with peace, alignment, and lasting testimony.
This year, let us not settle for what only looks good. Let us wait for what is truly God
