First who is a career-student?
A working-student is a student who is permitted to work while studying, and use the money earned to pay for their studies.
You know, not every student in an institution is opportune to have a guidance, sponsor or an aid while studying so this is actually what keeps some students going and be able to fund their needs. Other challenges like time management, being isolated and lonely can set in.
However, my brief example shows how a student's performance is affected by this act of being a career-student.
But this piece should be able to guide you on how to still manage your studies and career as well.
Here are some tips on being a successful working-student
* Take it slow and steady; mind you, you're not a full time worker, so you don't need to overdo. Take it step by step, you mustn't sell everyday, don't feel too bad when you don't make enough sales per day, focus on your studies more.
*Manage your time wisely, the aim here is to be a student who works to get funds for His/her studies still, so in a percentile range your studies should be 75% while your act as worker 25% to be able to balance your study life.
*Get acquainted to people around your vicinity, let them know what you sell, this will aid in being able to supply your goods in a very close range suitable for you.
These few tips should be able to guide you on being a successful working-student.
