Deaf Girls Arise 3.0 came to a beautiful close, and our hearts are so full. 💜

Over the past weeks, we’ve watched deaf girls grow in skill, confidence, and vision for their futures. From baking to bead-making and photography, and decoration, each class was a seed planted; a reminder that possibility begins when someone believes in you.

As part of our closing, each girl received a small tool for the craft she learned; a token of hope, and a start toward independence. We know it may not be everything they need to begin, but we trust that these little gifts will multiply, opening doors to even greater things. ✨

The highlight of the day was our small exhibition, where the girls showcased the beautiful work they created during the program. Seeing their faces light up as people admired, and even purchased
their crafts was a moment we’ll never forget. ✨

Our deepest gratitude goes to our facilitators, interpreters, and volunteers who showed up with patience and passion, and to every supporter who gave in cash, kind, or prayer. You made this vision real. 🙏🏽

This is a movement of possibility. And we believe these girls will rise to teach, lead, and inspire others in the years to come. 💜

We’re more than halfway through Deaf Girls Arise 3.0 and the journey has been nothing short of amazing! 💜

From learning pastries to decorating cakes, threading beads into beautiful bags, to capturing life through the lens in the photography class, our girls are becoming empowered young women.

The past two weekends have been filled with lots of fun, creativity, and determination, and the results are speaking for themselves! 🥳

This weekend, we wrap up the classes, and then the countdown begins to our big Exhibition Day Saturday the 11th October🎉 where the girls will proudly showcase everything they’ve created and learned.

A million thanks to everyone who has comtributed towards this cause. We have come this far because of you.

We’re beyond excited for what’s ahead, but we can’t do it alone. Your support still matters; in prayers, encouragement, and contributions towards materials, food, and transportation. Nothing is too little! Every little drop adds to this ocean of impact !💫

On Saturday, we officially kicked off Deaf Girls Arise 3.0 with a full-day opening event, and what a beautiful start it was!

We began with fun icebreakers to loosen up, then moved into powerful sessions on Identity, Sexual Abuse, and Hygiene. In our breakout circles, the girls shared their struggles and victories, finding strength and encouragement in one another’s stories. 💜

Of course, all work and no food makes girls… 😅 so we enjoyed snacks and a yummy lunch to keep the energy flowing (sadly, no pictures, were too busy enjoying it!🌚)

The genuine smiles and heartfelt connections captured in these photos, remind us why we do this!🥹

This Saturday, we begin the Skill Acquisition Trainings, and we can’t wait for even more laughter, learning, and growth!

We're up and rolling for the day 🥳

Today, we started by navigating generational traumas and blessings and how the impact us.

Next we go on to differentiate the concept of guilt and shame and how to heal from them

In this session we learnt something really amazing 😱
We see that wrestling with God is an evidence of our faith. Yes, eveidence! This is contrary to the popular opinion that it is a sign of doubt.

We had an in depth study of Job's story in reference to this and learnt ways can practice letting go of trying to control God and rest in his love 🥹❤️
