Today, 24th March 2022, the Technical Office on Infectious and Communicable Diseases NIMSA, marked it's first physical event in collaboration with the Stop TB Partnership with an outreach to Tudun Wada and Nasarawa Gwong communities in Jos North of Plateau State in commemoration of the World Tuberculosis Day.

As part of the exercise, over 500 people were sensitised on Tuberculosis with over 250 tested. Follow-up measures were also put in place.

This is just the beginning of the greatness the technical office will be embarking on as we are going to ever remain committed to promoting public health advocacy, especially in Infectious and Communicable Diseases, amplifying youth and students' voices in the advancement of public health interventions in Nigeria.
