Global Promoters for Community Initiatives (GP) is a voluntary/non profit making organization with the aim of improving the quality of life through community based oriented projects in area of Health and Education. The organization was formed by a group of people with the like minds and passion in 1999 and formerly registered with Katsina State Government as a body in accordance with laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2005. Since then, the organization has been partnering with similar private and government organizations with the same objectives and ideology. The organization is the foremost organization to initiate campaign against Malaria in the state with our office located at 35, Lawrence Onoja Street, Katsina, Katsina State. Our organization is a registered family member of Katsina Health Network as well as WANGO [World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations] with headquarters in USA amongst others. Our Mission

To improve the health and reduce the human disease burden in the community as our research focus is rural areas, as many infectious disease threats originate in this area, but many of the principles are globally applicable. To improve the quality of lives of young people and women (abled and disabled). Our Objectives
To conduct research into major health problems which threaten rural areas and beyond. To engage with the communities who host us and hence inspire and involve current and future generations in medical research. To promote healthy living among the youth, children and women against the deadly diseases such as Malaria, Aids, TB, Measles etc
To strengthen community through capacity building initiatives programmes. To collaborate, networking and partnering with the relevant agencies with similar objectives. TARGET
