After the failed attempt to debunk the abduction, the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has now paid a condolence visit to the same community where 177 innocent people were abducted on 18/01/2026.
Till today, only 11 persons have returned.
More than 160 people are still in captivity.
This visit comes after denial, silence, and efforts to suppress the truth.
One must ask:
Where was this concern when the incident first happened?
Where was the urgency when families were crying for help?
Condolence visits without concrete action are meaningless.
Sympathy without accountability is empty.
This is not leadership.
This is crocodile tears.
Adara lives matter.
Truth matters.
We will not be silent until every captive returns home.

Separating Facts from Falsehood in the Victor Solomon (Zidane) Case

There has been widespread misinformation on social media, especially on Facebook, about Victor Solomon, popularly known as Zidane. It is time to separate facts from falsehood and set the record straight.
The false narrative:
Many posts claim that Zidane was sentenced to death for killing 66 Fulani people, including women and children, in Kajuru. This story gained traction after public statements made in February 2019 by the then Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, which were followed by Zidane’s arrest by the military.
The actual court case:
Court records show that Zidane’s death sentence was not based on the alleged killing of 66 people. Instead, it was linked to a different incident in Kasuwan Magani, where he was accused of killing and beheading a man.
Serious questions about the evidence:
The prosecution’s key witness claimed to have identified Zidane from a distance of about 500 meters, a claim that raises obvious doubts.
Even more troubling, police records stated that the victim’s body was found on March 29, 2018, yet Zidane was accused of committing the crime on April 10, 2018 — 12 days after the body had already been discovered.
Why this matters:
These contradictions are not minor details. They go to the heart of justice, due process, and fairness. When facts are distorted and inconsistencies ignored, innocent lives can be destroyed and public opinion misled.
Justice must be based on truth, not propaganda. Facts matter. Due process matters. Human lives matter.
