HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR OVULATION DAY, CYCLE LENGTH AND FERTILE WINDOW FROM YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE.
For you to calculate your ovulation day (the day you released egg), you should know your last menstrual period (LMP) which is the first day blood comes out from your va**na for your last period. You should also known your Cycle Length which is the number of days from your LMP to a day to your next period.
Your Ovulation day is 14 day to your cycle Length. Different women have different cycle length but on average most women have 28 days cycle Length. Normal cycle Length is from 21 - 35 days. Any cycle Length less than 21 days OR greater than 35 days is abnormal.
To Calculate Ovulation day, subtract 14 day from the cycle Length, get the remaining days, use the remaining days to start counting days from your LMP, any day that the remaining days stop on your cycle corresponds to your Ovulation day.
To Calculate your Fertile Window (days you are most likely to get pregnant if you have s*x), consider your Ovulation day. Your fertile window is 5 days leading to your ovulation day, your Ovulation day and a day after your ovulation day, making 7 days in your cycle.
For example, a woman has LMP 2/03/2025, Cycle Length 30 days, to Calculate Ovulation day is 30 days - 14 days = 16 days
Counting 16 days from 02/03/2025 is
02 03 04 05 06 ........17/03/2025. Then 17/03/2025 is the OVULATION DAY.
Then, Your Fertile Window: is
12 13 14 15 16 17 18 of March 2025.
