*13 DISEASES ASSOCIATED WITH AGING AND HOW TO PREVENT THEM👴🏽👵🏼*

Age-related diseases are illnesses and conditions that occur more frequently in people as they get older, meaning age is a significant risk factor. According to David Hogan, gerontologist, and professor of medicine at the University of Calgary, examples of age-related diseases are:

⚜️. Cardiovascular Disease🫀: Heart disease is the number one killer in Nigeria, and among the leading causes of death in many other countries. The most common form is coronary artery disease, which involves a narrowing or blockage of the main arteries supplying the heart with blood. Obstructions can develop over time, or quickly - as in an acute rupture - and cause potentially fatal heart attacks.

⚜️. Cerebrovascular Disease🧠 (Strokes): A stroke happens when blood stops flowing in one area of the brain because of a disruption in one of the blood vessels. It is very serious because brain cells deprived of oxygen in the blood begin to die very quickly.

There are two types of strokes. The most common is called an ischemic stroke, which occurs when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel. The second type is called a hemorrhagic stroke and is caused when a blood vessel ruptures and bleeds in the brain.

Strokes can cause death or serious disability, depending on the location and severity of the blockage or rupture.

⚜️. High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)🫀: Blood pressure is the force blood exerts on the walls of your arteries as your heart pumps. It's lower when you're sleeping or are at rest, and higher when you're stressed or excited — though it tends to rise generally with age. Chronically elevated blood pressure can cause serious problems for your heart, blood vessels, kidneys and other systems in the body.

⚜️. Cancer ©️: One of the biggest risk factors for many types of cancer, in which abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, is age. According to the American Cancer Society, 77% of all cancers are diagnosed in people over the age of 55. In Canada, cancer represents the leading cause of death for both men and women.

A number of types of cancer are more common as we age, including skin, breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, bladder, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and stomach cancers.

⚜️. Type 2 Diabetes🩸: Diabetes is a disorder that disrupts the way your body uses glucose, or sugar, from the food it digests. In Type 1 diabetes, which typically begins in people under the age of 30, no insulin is produced. The far more common Type 2 diabetes involves sufficient insulin—but an acquired resistance to it—so glucose is not processed properly by the body. Both types of diabetes lead to blood sugar levels that are too high, which can lead to serious problems like heart attack, stroke, nerve damage, kidney failure, and blindness.

⚜️. Parkinson's Disease👴🏽: Named after the British physician who first described it in the early 1800s, this progressive neurological disorder causes tremors, stiffness, and halting movement. Three-quarters of all cases of Parkinson's Disease begin after the age of 60, though age is only one risk factor. Men are more likely than women to get PD, as are people with a family history of the disease—or those who've been exposed to certain chemical toxins. Head injuries may also play a role.

⚜️. Dementia (Including Alzheimer's Disease)👵🏼: Characterized by a loss of brain functioning, dementia can manifest as memory loss, mood changes, confusion, difficulty communicating, or poor judgment. Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia, but there are a number of other causes, including vascular dementia (due to impaired blood flow to the brain), Huntington's disease, and dementia associated with Parkinson's Disease. While the incidence of dementia increases with age, it is not considered a natural part of the aging process.

⚜️. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) cannot be cured, but it can be treated, and perhaps more importantly, prevented. The condition is characterized by a reduction of airflow into and out of the lungs, thanks to inflammation in the airways, thickening of the lining of the lungs, and an over-production of mucus in the air tubes.

Symptoms include a worsening, chronic and productive cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

The main cause of COPD is chronic exposure to airborne irritants like to***co smoke (either as a primary smoker or second-hand), occupational contaminants, or industrial pollution. Cigarette smoking remains the most significant risk factor.

⚜️. Osteoarthritis: Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease and the most common form of arthritis. Osteoarthritis occurs more commonly as people age, and it's more prevalent in women. Being obese or having had a prior joint injury also makes you more susceptible.

Characterized by swelling and pain in the joints, osteoarthritis cannot yet be cured, but it can be treated with pain-relieving or anti-inflammatory medications, as well as through lifestyle modifications like weight loss, exercise, and physiotherapy.

⚜️. Osteoporosis: Also known as "brittle bone disease," osteoporosis is characterized by bone mass loss, which leads to thinning and weakening bones. It gets more common with age, especially in Caucasian and Asian women. Having osteopenia, or low bone density is also a risk factor. According to the U.S. National Institutes of Health, as many as half of all women over the age of 50—and a quarter of men in that age group—will break a bone because of osteoporosis. Bone breaks like hip fractures are a very serious problem for older adults, resulting in a loss of mobility, independence, and in about a quarter of all cases, death within a year of the injury.

⚜️. Cataracts👁️: A cataract is a progressive cloudiness in the lens of your eye, resulting from a number of factors, including exposure to ultraviolet light, smoking, and diabetes. According to the U.S. National Institutes of Health, half of all people over the age of 65 have some kind of cataract. Initially, you may not notice a cataract, but over time vision can become blurred and much reduced. Cataract surgery may be recommended to remove and replace the lens. Years ago, such surgery required several days' recovery in the hospital; now, it can be performed as an outpatient procedure, often in about an hour.

⚜️. Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD): Age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common condition in adults over the age of 50, is the most common cause of blindness in older people. As the macula of the eye progressively deteriorates, so does a person's ability to see objects clearly in the center of his field of vision, though peripheral vision is usually preserved.

⚜️. Hearing Loss👂🏼: Hearing loss is common with advancing age, thanks to the deterioration of tiny hairs within your ear that help process sound. It can mean simple changes in hearing, too, such as having difficulty following a conversation in a noisy area, having trouble distinguishing certain consonants (especially in higher-pitched voices), certain sounds seeming louder than usual, and voices seeming muffled. Several factors in addition to age, such as chronic exposure to loud noises, smoking, and genetics, can affect how well you hear as you get older. About half of all people over the age of 70 have some degree of age-related hearing loss.

How You Can Prevent Age-Related diseases.
While aging itself is not a disease, it is a risk factor for various types of health challenges, as explained above. It is just a pity that most adults today hold the view that age related diseases are inevitable and unavoidable but that is false. Do you know that Abraham was about 138 years old when he married a second wife? At 85years of age Caleb was still as strong as he was at age 40. We have many centenarians today who are still healthy and very active. There is just one factor that greatly determines whether you age gracefully or painfully. It is the glutathione factor.

What is glutathione?
Apart from food, water and oxygen, the next most important molecule you need to live healthy, look younger and prevent age related diseases is called Glutathione (pronounced “gloota-thigh-own”). It is possible you’ve never heard of it before and or your doctor has never told you about it. This is probably because glutathione is not like vitamin c or other drugs that you can just pick up from the pharmacy shop. It is something that God has created right inside our body, so, it can only be produced endogenously.

Let me briefly explain to you how our body systems work. Our body is actually made up of trillions of cells. A group of cells forms the tissue, a group of tissue forms the organ, the organs makes up the system and the systems form the body.

But, because of the fact that we are oxygen based organism, coupled with the kind of environment that we live in, every second of the day, our cells are under constant attack from germs, bacteria, viruses, pollution, toxins, sun exposure and oxidative stress. These attacks go on continually thereby inflicting severe damages to the cells and over time the cells are overpowered, become inactive or start to malfunction. In order for our body to be able to checkmate these violent and persistent attacks, we will need to have adequate amount of super antioxidant called Glutathione to help each of the cells fight and win the battle. God is the one who made it that way.

Medical scientists call it the ultimate cell protector or the master antioxidant. It is the body’s first line of defense and that is why your glutathione level determines how healthy you will live.

The bad news is that, once you are above age 21 your glutathione level begins to decrease. This leaves you susceptible to unrestrained cell disintegration and cell death caused by unrestrained oxidative stress, free radicals and toxins. Glutathione deficiency has been attributed to be the root cause of over 75 chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, hypertension, arthritis, poor sexual performance, dementia, etc.

Glutathione is also critical in helping our immune system do its job of fighting infections, taking away toxins and preventing cancer. That’s why studies show that it can help reduce the risk of rapid aging and all age-related diseases.

For many decades, the subject of glutathione has been the focus of most medical researchers. As at today, there are over 100,000 articles on glutathione published in pubmed (the USA official online library of medical research).

However, even though most of these medical scientists agreed that glutathione is the key to maintaining our cellular health, the greatest challenge has been on how to help raise this miracle molecule in our body. This is because; glutathione is not something that can be produced outside the body.

Again, some nutritional scientist had discovered that there are some natural fruits or foods that contains the precursors (glycine, glutamic and Cysteine) needed by the body to produce glutathione but another problem is that, due to the complex nature of our digestive system, the body does not get the adequate amount of these compound to produce enough glutathione. In fact, Cysteine which is a very fragile precursor for producing glutathione has been the limiting factor because it cannot survive our body’s complex digestive system. It is usually destroyed even before it gets to the cells where it is needed mostly.

But I have good news for you, Dr. Herbert T. Nagasawa, a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Toxicology, University of Minnesota, USA) has developed a revolutionary molecule known as RiboCeine that can effectively deliver Cysteine to the cell to support the natural production of glutathione. Unlike any other glutathione enhancement product in the market, RiboCeine is the only product with documented scientific evidence of how it works in the body. It has been clinically proven to be 300 percent better than the next available alternative.

RiboCeine significantly outperformed other means of glutathione enhancement against which it has been tested. This claim has been validated by over twenty- two scientific studies funded by the National Institutes of Health and other scientific funding agencies and published in peer-reviewed journals.

This breakthrough technology called RiboCeine is only available at Max International. Max International is today known as the glutathione company and all their glutathione enhancement products has been helping people to reduce their aging process and fight the root causes of most known age-related diseases.

Are you concerned about your health and that of your aged parents? Empower your body to live healthier and age gracefully. Glutathione supplementation is necessary as we grow older because, you know that as we age, our body’s ability to absolve nutrients from the foods we eat is reduced. Don’t wait until the case becomes that of emergency, prevention they say is always cheaper and better than cure. Again, most age-related diseases are usually chronic meaning the patient may likely die from such disease so, it is better to prevent it in the first place.

*Obesity or Gaining Weight in Adulthood Is Linked with a Greater Risk of Getting Gout.*

Gout is the most common inflammatory arthritis in adult men and women.

Gout, an inflammatory form of arthritis infamous for causing excruciating pain in the big toe, has long been tied to obesity. (In fact, it was once known as the “disease of kings” because it commonly occurred in wealthy men who could afford to overindulge in food and alcohol.)

Although there are many reasons why someone might develop gout — genetics and medical conditions like kidney disease are among the most important — new research confirms that weight remains a risk factor.

The study, which was published in the journal Arthritis Research & Therapy, used data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) to determine whether or not weight change during adulthood impacts the incidence of gout. The NHANES is a program run by the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to assess the health and nutritional status of people in the United States. For this study, researchers looked at the data for adults ages 40 to 74 between 2007 and 2014.

The researchers discovered that people who gained a lot of weight as adults had a higher risk of developing gout. Specifically, people who became obese as adults were 1.65 times more likely to develop gout than stable non-obese participants. Similarly, people had been obese throughout their life (deemed “stable obese” by researchers) were 1.84 times more likely to develop gout than stable non-obese participants. Those who were obese but lost weight were less likely to develop gout and less likely to have frequent gout flares.

Visceral fat obesity is highly associated with primary gout in a metabolically obese but normal weighted population: Studies suggested that weight gain is associated with increased levels of uric acid in the bloodstream. Gout occurs when uric acid is not properly excreted from the body, so it crystallises and settles in joints.

*Some people may encounter the following symptoms:*

Areas of pain include the joints, ankle, foot, knee, and toe.
Lumpiness, stiffness, or edema in the joints
Deformity or skin redness are also frequent.

*How do I get rid of Gout permanently?*

Treatment consists of self care and anti-inflammatories.
📍During an acute attack, anti-inflammatory medications can help relieve pain and shorten the length of the attack.

📍Patients with chronic gout can use behavioural modification such as diet, exercise and decreased intake of alcohol to help minimise the frequency of attacks.

*Important Notice!!!*
Gone are the days when being obese or overweight meant you were wealthy or successful.

Obesity, or being overweight, is something you should actively seek to avoid. Overweight/obesity is the root of the majority of chronic diseases around the world.

As a result of this necessity, Max International developed Metaswitch, a one-of-a-kind weight management system that helps you switch your metabolism to high metabolism, allowing you to burn fat all day long without exercising.

Switch Metabolic Enhancer is the secret to turning your slow metabolism into a fast one.

Switch Metabolic Enhancer (Metaswitch) is a stimulant-free weight loss supplement that takes a different approach to losing weight. The supplement activates the AMPK enzyme, which connects to the nervous system's core, a region of the brain that controls, among other things, body weight, appetite, and hunger.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), the main ingredient in Switch, is a potent antioxidant that aids in the maintenance of a healthy metabolism. It's more distinctive because it contains leucine, citrulline, riboCeine, and other synergistic substances.

AMPK, the "master switch" that governs metabolic rate (rate at which the body burns food for energy) is activated by Alpha Lipoic Acid

Fat loss is the most major effect of AMPK on your body. As a result, by activating AMPK with Alpha lipoic acid and other potent synthetic drugs, you may burn fat and lose weight more effectively, lowering your risk of severe diseases and so improving your overall health.

Excess uric acid in the body is eased, and inflammation is lessened, when the body's metabolic "master switch," known as "AMPK," is triggered.
Because one of the main causes of excess uric acid storage in the body is a malfunctioning kidney, Riboceine in Metaswitch will help improve the glutathione level in the kidney, allowing it to eliminate uric acid more effectively. Because the liver is involved in the detoxification process, Riboceine in Metaswitch will assist the body remove uric acid by increasing glutathione levels in both the liver and kidney.

Inflammation will undoubtedly decrease as a result of the glutathione production. So, in addition to losing weight, which will lower your inflammation rate, glutathione will lower your inflammation rate as well. As a result of the two functioning together, you get a faster and better outcome that you won't get in other items.

WHAT IS ARTHRITIS?

Actually, “ arthritis ” is not a single disease; ilt is an informal way of referring to joint pain or joint disease or

Inflammation of one or more joints, causing pain and stiffness that can worsen with age.

Inflammation is a process in which the body's white blood cells and immune proteins help protect us from infection and foreign substances such as bacteria and viruses.

In some diseases, however, the body's defense system (immune system) triggers an inflammatory response when there are no foreign substances to fight off.

In these diseases, called autoimmune diseases, the body's normally protective immune system causes damage to its own tissues.

The body responds as if normal tissues are infected or somehow abnormal.

What Causes the Symptoms of Inflammation?

When inflammation occurs, chemicals from the body are released into the blood or affected tissues.

This release of chemicals increases the blood flow to the area of injury or infection and may result in redness and warmth.

Some of the chemicals cause a leak of fluid into the tissues, resulting in swelling due to oxidative stress. This process may stimulate nerves and cause pain.

Osteoarthritis is another form of arthritis basically caused by degeneration of joint tissues after repetitive use - wear and tear.

This is due to deficiency of glutathione needed for the production of stem cells responsible for repairs and regeneration of damaged tissues.

There are more than 100 different types of arthritis and related conditions.

People of all ages, sexes and races can and do have arthritis, and it is the leading cause of disability in the world.

It is most common among women and occurs more frequently as people get older.

Common arthritis joint symptoms include:

Swelling, pain, stiffness and decreased range of motion, fever,
chills, fatigue/loss of energy, headaches,
loss of appetite
muscle stiffness.

Symptoms may come and go. They can be mild, moderate or severe. They may stay about the same for years, but may progress or get worse over time.

Severe arthritis can result in chronic pain, inability to do daily activities and make it difficult to walk or climb stairs.

Arthritis can cause permanent joint changes. These changes may be visible, such as knobby finger joints, but often the damage can only be seen on X-ray.

Some types of arthritis also affect the heart, eyes, lungs, kidneys and skin as well as the joints.

Causes

There is no single cause of all types of arthritis.

The cause or causes vary according to the type or form of arthritis.

Possible causes may include:

📌Injury, leading to degenerative arthritis
abnormal metabolism, leading to gout and pseudogout

📌Inheritance, such as in osteoarthritis

📌infections, such as in the arthritis of Lyme disease

📌 immune system dysfunction, such as in RA and SLE - Autoimmune disorder [ your immune system attacking your tissues]

Most types of arthritis are linked to a combination of factors, but some have no obvious cause.

In case you already have started experiencing the above symptoms of arthritis, or you just want to take proactive steps towards healthy living, CELLGEVITY is exactly what you need. You can get yours today at the company’s wholesale price.

CELLGEVITY is the most effective, safe, and natural way to raise and sustain your GLUTATHIONE by 300% and when this happens your body heals itself .

*CATARACT: The Leading Cause Of Blindness*

Inside our eyes, we have a natural lens. The lens bends (refracts) light rays that come into the eye to help us see. The lens should be clear, like the top lens in the illustration.
If you have a cataract, your lens has become cloudy, like the bottom lens in the illustration. It is like looking through a foggy or dusty car windshield. Things look blurry, hazy or less colorful with a cataract.

So cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of your eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses is a bit like looking through a frosty or fogged-up window. Clouded vision caused by cataracts can make it more difficult to read, drive a car (especially at night) or see the expression on a friend's face.

Most cataracts develop slowly and don't disturb your eyesight early on. But with time, cataracts will eventually interfere with your vision.

At first, stronger lighting and eyeglasses can help you deal with cataracts. But if impaired vision interferes with your usual activities, you might need cataract surgery. Fortunately, cataract surgery is generally a safe, effective procedure but hasn't proven to be a complete solution.

*Signs and symptoms of cataracts include:*

*Clouded, blurred or dim vision

*Increasing difficulty with vision at night

*Sensitivity to light and glare

*Need for brighter light for reading and other activities

*Seeing "halos" around lights

*Frequent changes in eyeglass or contact lens prescription

*Fading or yellowing of colors

*Double vision in a single eye

At first, the cloudiness in your vision caused by a cataract may affect only a small part of the eye's lens and you may be unaware of any vision loss. As the cataract grows larger, it clouds more of your lens and distorts the light passing through the lens. This may lead to more noticeable symptoms.

*When to see a doctor*

Make an appointment for an eye exam if you notice any changes in your vision. If you develop sudden vision changes, such as double vision or flashes of light, sudden eye pain, or sudden headache, see your doctor right away for a check up.

*Causes*

Most cataracts develop when aging or injury changes the tissue that makes up your eye's lens.

Some inherited genetic disorders that cause other health problems can increase your risk of cataracts.

Cataracts can also be caused by other eye conditions, past eye surgery or medical conditions such as diabetes.

Long-term use of steroid medications, too, can cause cataracts to develop.

*How a cataract forms*

The lens, where cataracts form, is positioned behind the colored part of your eye (iris). The lens focuses light that passes into your eye, producing clear, sharp images on the retina — the light-sensitive membrane in the eye that functions like the film in a camera.

As you age, the lenses in your eyes become less flexible, less transparent and thicker. Age-related and other medical conditions cause tissues within the lens to break down and clump together, clouding small areas within the lens.

As the cataract continues to develop, the clouding becomes denser and involves a bigger part of the lens. A cataract scatters and blocks the light as it passes through the lens, preventing a sharply defined image from reaching your retina. As a result, your vision becomes blurred.

Cataracts generally develop in both eyes, but not evenly. The cataract in one eye may be more advanced than the other, causing a difference in vision between eyes.

*Types of cataracts*

*Cataracts affecting the center of the lens (nuclear cataracts). A nuclear cataract may at first cause more nearsightedness or even a temporary improvement in your reading vision. But with time, the lens gradually turns more densely yellow and further clouds your vision.

As the cataract slowly progresses, the lens may even turn brown. Advanced yellowing or browning of the lens can lead to difficulty distinguishing between shades of color.

*Cataracts that affect the edges of the lens (cortical cataracts). A cortical cataract begins as whitish, wedge-shaped opacities or streaks on the outer edge of the lens cortex. As it slowly progresses, the streaks extend to the center and interfere with light passing through the center of the lens.

*Cataracts that affect the back of the lens (posterior subcapsular cataracts). A posterior subcapsular cataract starts as a small, opaque area that usually forms near the back of the lens, right in the path of light.

A posterior subcapsular cataract often interferes with your reading vision, reduces your vision in bright light, and causes glare or halos around lights at night. These types of cataracts tend to progress faster than other types do.

*Cataracts you're born with (congenital cataracts). Some people are born with cataracts or develop them during childhood. These cataracts may be genetic, or associated with an intrauterine infection or trauma.

These cataracts also may be due to certain conditions, such as myotonic dystrophy, galactosemia, neurofibromatosis type 2 or rubella. Congenital cataracts don't always affect vision, but if they do they're usually removed soon after detection.

https://chat.whatsapp.com/IAJTFdMs5uF60WuGZMtnj4

*Risk factors*

Factors that increase your risk of cataracts include:

*Increasing age
*Diabetes
*Excessive exposure to sunlight
*Smoking
*Obesity
*High blood pressure
*Previous eye injury or inflammation
*Previous eye injury or sugery
*use of corticosteroid medications
*Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol

Wear sunglasses. Ultraviolet light from the sun may contribute to the development of cataracts. Wear sunglasses that block ultraviolet B (UVB) rays when you're outdoors.

Studies have proven that deficiency of Glutathione in the eyes as we age leads to cataracts.

Glutathione is the antioxidant that protect the eyes from free radical actives like dusts, sunlight etc and as we age it naturally goes down and this exposes the eyes to damaging activities of free radicals.
