“There’s no random herbal mixture that shrinks fibroid”.

That statement sparked a lot of reactions.

Some testified that it worked for them like magic, while some who have been taking herbal mixture for two years are hopeful that it will shrink soon.

Some persons also narrated how they took it and it didn’t work, and they later went for surgery. Someone also said that it nearly damaged her kidneys, before she went for surgery.

Now listen, herbs are good and are also used in preparing certain medications, but they are refined, regulated and formulated using the right amount. They are also endorsed and certified safe for consumption by the appropriate authorities.

Most of the locally prepared herbal mixtures have laxatives, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. That’s why you to tend purge and frequent the toilet whenever you take them. And because they’re not regulated you’re taking them in excess unknowingly.

Herbal mixture doesn’t take care of every disease. Herbal mixtures are mostly effective when used on a preventive, health maintenance and promotion basis. That’s when the disease have not set in. Same thing with supplements.

For the fibroid case, due to the anti-inflammatory and antixodant properties of those herbal mixture, they tackle some of the predisposing factors like hormonal imbalance, Obesity etc, thereby preventing further growth of the existing fibroids and possible spread.

That you took a herbal mixture and went to scan and it showed that there’s no more fibroid growth, doesn’t necessarily mean that it was the herbal mixture that shrinked it. If that was the case what happened to others who took it and theirs didn’t shrink?

When medications are not taken in the right quantity and interval, especially when it’s used repeatedly in every minor ailment, overdosed or for a longer duration beyond the ideal period, it begins to f!ght certain organs in the body.

People tend to abuse paracetamol, because they probably believe it’s harmless, and so what could possibly go wrong?

I am sure those that use paracetamol to process our fufu also think same, to them it’s ordinary paracetamol.

But one thing they don’t know is that paracetamol can be toxic to the liver, repeated and abusive use of paracetamol will overtime damage the liver.

It’s not ordinary and safe when used out of proportion. While it might be doing the work in the targeted organ, it’s also destroying the other organ.

I read a post where Doctor of the future said that people that work night shift stands at higher risk of developing certain health conditions.

A lot of persons reacted to that post, cited many essential workers especially those that work in the hospital who can’t possibly avoid the night shifts.

Some persons doubted him, but the truth is, that’s research. He didn’t make up the post. That was according to research, studies showed that.

You may wonder, but people are still doing night shifts, living and surviving?

Personally, I believe it also depends on practicing healthy living.

So if you fall into such category of workers, here are few things you can do to keep the body in check:

1. Ensure that you observe enough rest and sleep after your shift.

2. Stay hydrated always.

3. Eat fruits.

4. Take enough proteins, both animal and plant base proteins.

5. Eat green vegetables, and maintain a healthy diet. Do not depend on juncks.

And lastly, exercise when you can.
