There are times I almost believed a mum when she said her baby was having spiritual attacks.
You know, after delivery , the woman may be observed for 24 to 48 hours before discharge.
I was the one who sent this new mum home with a healthy baby. Baby never had any need for medication. Just a perfect baby, if you asked me.
But after a few days, the mum called that the baby was always jerking, and before you know it, her body would become hot.
I tried to understand how that was possible.
She said that what bothered her was that it happened in the afternoon and sometimes at night.
According to her, " Dr, is like they don't want my baby to rest. Once she sleeps, her body goes hot, she will now start perking like a person wey get epilepsy ."
I requested for a video or a picture, and ladies and mums, I got a picture of a well wrapped "Shawarma ."
This baby is wrapped like someone living in Antarctica.
She wore 2 inner dresses, one overall suit, a thick cap, socks, and mitten.
Her temperature was off the roof.
I was weak.
Okay, Madam, where is the baby going to in this outfit?
"No where. We are protecting her from cold. The windows are all closed, and we don't use fan or AC."
Now, you have protected her from cold and ushered her into fever and convulsion.
