Prof. Ibrahim Oreagba a professor of Pharmacology and a consultant to NAFDAC. Educated the gathering on how red meat is a factor contributing to cardiovascular diseases.

He noted that to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular diseases and cancer, livestock have to be slaughtered properly, not to be strangled for the sake of getting more blood for sale.
