Undiagnosed and untreated chlamydia during pregnancy can be dangerous for your baby.
At delivery , you may pass it to your baby.
In infants, chlamydia most often causes eye infection called conjunctivitis, lung infections called pneumonia or both.
It is advisable to get diagnosis and treat any infection during pregnancy to ensure a healthy delivery outcome.
