Some things never change.

Our founder’s mum has been giving blood for over a decade and showing us what consistency looks like — from 2016 to 2026, still showing up so others can live. 🩸

Blood type O is everyone’s favorite and always in high demand, even by mosquitoes 😅

O blood has no A or B antigens, so it’s less likely to be rejected by the recipient’s immune system. That’s why hospitals, ambulances, and trauma centers rely on it first.

O-negative blood can be given to anyone, making it the safest option when a patient’s blood type is unknown—like in accidents, surgeries, and childbirth.

Even though many people have type O, it runs out the quickest, which is why O blood donors are always in high demand.

Every day, people living with sickle cell rely on blood transfusions to stay alive. For many, regular transfusions every 4 to 6 weeks, or monthly red cell exchanges, are the only way to manage their symptoms.

Fighting sickle cell is in our blood. Regular blood donors help ensure they get the needed blood for their procedures.
