*En caul delivery — this newborn arrives in its protective amniotic sac, a moment both awe-inspiring and precious!!*

*An "en caul delivery" or "caul birth" is an exceptional event during childbirth where the baby is born encased in the amniotic sac.*
*This sac, comprising the amnion and chorion membranes, normally ruptures before or during labor, allowing the baby to descend into the birth canal. However, in an en caul birth, the amniotic sac remains intact as the baby is delivered.*

*This occurrence is generally regarded as an uncommon phenomenon and does not typically pose a medical risk to either the infant or the mother. Medical professionals will usually puncture or rupture the amniotic sac shortly after delivery to facilitate the baby's breathing and adaptation to the extrauterine environment. En caul deliveries are notable for their rarity (less than one in 80,000) and are occasionally considered as symbolic or fortuitous events.*
