A woman's body weight has direct effect on her fertility; if a woman is underweight, there is a high tendency that she may have issues carrying the baby to term, which is miscarriage.
This also applies to a women who is overweight; there are complications that may occur due to been overweight.
Let's talk about overweight been the most popular.
Being overweight is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 25–29.9.
Obesity is defined as having a BMI of 30 or greater.
BMI means Body Mass Index: it is a person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. That is, if you are 70kg and your height is 1.7, your BMI is 70kg divided by 1.7 × 1.7 which is 2.89.
70kg ÷ 2.89 = 24.2
The BMI here is 24.2 which is within the healthy range.
To simply put, if a woman is above 100kg she is most likely obese.
