DON'T KILL THE HORSE.

The horse here represents your body and fitness. You must prioritize your health and be intentional about it; this is very important.

You need to learn from a nineteenth-century preacher, Robert Murray McCheyne. After graduating from Edinburgh University at the age of fourteen in 1827, He led a congregation of over a thousand at the age of twenty-three. He worked so hard without managing stress well to the extent that his health finally broke down.

Before dying at age twenty-nine, he wrote, *“God gave me a message to deliver and a horse to ride. Alas, I have killed the horse, and now I cannot deliver the message.”*

Note that if you don't rest, you may be forcing yourself to be laid to rest. It is wise not to call yourself home when God has not called you home yet.

Please note that your family, loved ones, friends, Church and the world at large still need you to be a blessing to them.

REST AND MANAGE STRESS WELL

Ladies, be wise.

If a man is not talking about marriage, yet you are already giving him the benefits meant for a husband, you are removing the very reason for him to commit.

Why would he step up when he is already enjoying what should be reserved for marriage?

Instead, he may begin to look elsewhere—towards a woman who has discipline, self-respect, and clear boundaries. A woman who understands her worth and refuses to compromise her values.

You are too valuable to make yourself cheap.

Guard your body. Guard your standards. Guard your future.

Be wise. Know your worth—and never trade it for temporary affection.

Food for Thought

You relax on a plane, even though you don’t know the pilot, yet you trust him.

You sit calmly in a bus, though the driver is a stranger, yet you believe you’ll arrive safely.

Why then do you struggle to relax and trust God,
when you have handed over your life to Him, the One who knows the end from the beginning?

If you can trust men with limited knowledge,
why not trust God with unlimited wisdom?

Let go. Trust Him.
He is more committed to your destiny than you are.
