DON'T KILL THE HORSE.
The horse here represents your body and fitness. You must prioritize your health and be intentional about it; this is very important.
You need to learn from a nineteenth-century preacher, Robert Murray McCheyne. After graduating from Edinburgh University at the age of fourteen in 1827, He led a congregation of over a thousand at the age of twenty-three. He worked so hard without managing stress well to the extent that his health finally broke down.
Before dying at age twenty-nine, he wrote, *“God gave me a message to deliver and a horse to ride. Alas, I have killed the horse, and now I cannot deliver the message.”*
Note that if you don't rest, you may be forcing yourself to be laid to rest. It is wise not to call yourself home when God has not called you home yet.
Please note that your family, loved ones, friends, Church and the world at large still need you to be a blessing to them.
REST AND MANAGE STRESS WELL
