Yesterday, at the iconic Transcorp Hilton Abuja, our philanthropic arm, Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), unveiled the 12th cohort of its flagship Entrepreneurship Programme, announcing a total of 3,200 beneficiaries across all 54 African countries who will receive a non-refundable seed capital of $5,000 each, alongside mentorship, and training to transform their ideas into impactful businesses.
This year, TEF, in collaboration with several partners across the globe, including organisations from our Group; Heirs Energies, Transcorp Power, Transcorp Hotels Plc, and United Capital Plc; will disburse a total of $16m to the selected entrepreneurs.
