Together, they explored how Africapitalism and Inclusive Capitalism are redefining global prosperity and championing systems where businesses drive people-centred growth, and long-term value and impact.

"Africapitalism is not an African adaptation of capitalism. It is a redefinition of capitalism to address the germane issues." - Tony O. Elumelu, CFR

What does Africa need most to unlock the power of AI? Adoption or accessibility?🤔

Today, at the 9th Future of Investment Initiative (FII) Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, our Founder & Group Chair, Tony Elumelu, CFR, alongside an elite lineup of other world leaders, discussed how private capital and digital innovation can transform financial markets and position Africa as the next global hub for AI and technology talent.

"To some, it is about AI adoption. To others, it is about AI accessibility. We should, as a global community, play our own role in helping to create AI access so that all of us grow simultaneously." - Tony Elumelu

"What we want to do is use both methods - traditional, private markets and digital technology - to grow a deeper market on the continent because access to capital is difficult and we need so much private capital on the continent to help catalyse infrastructure development." - Tony Elumelu

At Heirs Holdings, we believe that conversations like these are vital to unlocking Africa’s potential, by driving investment and building the infrastructure that powers inclusive, sustainable growth across our continent.

“Will foreign investors invest in Africa when the local private sector does not?”

A challenge and a call to action from our Founder & Group Chair, Tony Elumelu, CFR, at the Abuja Business & Investment Summit & Expo 2025.

Speaking on “Private Sector Leadership at the Forefront of Africa’s Economic Transformation,” he amplified the private sector's role as a driver of Africa's development.

"Transforming Africa requires capital, but not just any capital. It requires patient, purposeful, and Pan-African capital." - Tony O. Elumelu, CFR

Indeed, no nation has achieved sustained prosperity without a vibrant private sector, and foreign investors will follow local confidence.
