This week, the NNPC Limited/Heirs Energies OML 17 Joint Venture marked a decisive step in responsible gas commercialisation with the symbolic signing of Gas Flare Commercialisation Agreements under the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialisation Programme (NGFCP) and approved Non-NGFCP frameworks.

This initiative will capture and commercialise flared gas previously wasted, turning it into valuable energy for domestic use, power generation and industrial applications — reinforcing our commitment to eliminating routine gas flaring and growing the domestic energy supply.
