When Should Kids Wash Their Hands?
To stop the spread of germs in your family, make regular hand washing a rule for everyone, especially:

1. Before handling food and eating
2. After using the bathroom.
3. After cleaning around the house
4. After touching animals, including family pets
5. Before and after visiting or taking care of any sick friends or relatives

Here are some basic facts you need to know about calcium.
Q. What is calcium?
A. Calcium is a mineral. Our bodies contain more calcium than any other mineral. As much as 99 percent of the calcium in our bodies is stored in our teeth and bones, although it is also present in our blood, muscle, and the fluid between body cells.

Q. What does calcium do?
A. Calcium is essential for building and maintaining our bones.. Calcium is also necessary for the contraction and expansion of muscles and blood vessels, the secretion of hormones and enzymes, and nerve impulse transmission throughout the nervous system. We need a constant amount of calcium. Not getting enough calcium increases your risk of osteoporosis, hypertension and colon cancer.”

Q. How much calcium do I need?
A. Your daily calcium requirement depends on your age and a variety of other factors. For example, teens need more calcium than adults; older adults, particularly post-menopausal women, need extra calcium to prevent osteoporosis because the lower levels of estrogen that accompany menopause decrease bone mass.
Q. How can I get the calcium I need?
A. The best way to get calcium is by eating foods that contain high amounts of the mineral. Many foods such as dairy products contain high amounts of calcium. Calcium is also often added to foods such as juices. Top calcium-rich choices include:
Dairy products such as cheese, milk, and yogurt
Green, leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, is this a myth or a fact? Can skipping breakfast make you lose more weight? These are some of the questions on the minds of people on a weight loss journey.
Some studies have shown that breakfast eaters tend to have healthier eating habits, while those that skip breakfast tend to snack a lot. Which ever one you decide to go for, the key is the food choices you are making.
While intermittent fasting has been shown to reduce caloric intake, increase weigh loss and improve metabolism, it may not be suitable for everyone as it can lead to headaches, drop in blood sugar and lack of concentration.
In conclusion if you are hungry and you feel like eating breakfast in the morning, make healthy food choices that include some fiber and protein, but if you would rather have brunch instead , do what works for you. Note that starvation is definitely not an option.
