*ASAWANA IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!*

Once a fiery and controversial voice in Niger Delta politics, Asari Dokubu, popularly known as “Asawana,” had once thundered, *“Let Donald Trump and the US Army come, we will kpai all of them!”* His words rang out with defiance and were cheered by loyalists and sympathisers of the government, who saw him as fearless and bold.

But bravado has a price.

In a shocking twist, former U.S. President Donald Trump orders airstrikes on ISIS-linked targets in Sokoto, vowing more decisive actions in the region. Suddenly, the warlord’s previous tough talk fizzles out. The once-loud Asawana is silent, missing from the scene entirely.

Where is the “slayer of American soldiers” now?

The same followers who once applauded now ask hard questions. His silence speaks volumes. The same mouth that once roared is now mute, perhaps realising that the global stage plays by different rules.

*Verdict:*
In a world where real power moves silently and swiftly, loud threats without capacity are exposed for what they are; noise!

*"Why Do Nigerian Politicians Prefer Handouts Over Sustainable Support?"*

It’s a pattern we’ve seen too often — photo ops with bags of rice, token scholarships, and petty cash giveaways. Yet, the same leaders shy away from investing in small and medium-sized businesses that could lift entire communities out of poverty.

True empowerment means building sustainable systems, not dependence. Until our leaders prioritize entrepreneurship, skills development, and access to credit, progress will remain an illusion.

*Luka Dončić "Chooses Peace Over Drama – Turns Down Kim Kardashian Again!*

NBA star Luka Dončić isn’t here for distractions! Despite Kim Kardashian’s second playful attempt to get closer — even offering to learn Slovenian — Luka politely declined, keeping his focus on his family and career.

Even Lamar Odom jumped in to warn him: *"She’ll absorb your talent like in Space Jam!"* 😅

Luka’s got a fiancée, a newborn, and a game to protect — and he’s not risking it for Hollywood headlines.

RIYOM MASSACRE IN PLATEAU STATE

The Riyom massacre in Plateau State, Nigeria, stands as a grim testament to the escalating violence in the region. On the night of July 14, 2025, armed assailants launched a brutal attack on Tahoss village in Riyom Local Government Area, resulting in the deaths of at least 32 individuals, including women, children, and the elderly. Survivors recounted that the attackers, suspected to be Fulani militia, conducted a coordinated assault, setting homes ablaze and targeting residents indiscriminately .

This incident is part of a disturbing pattern of violence in Riyom LGA. Over a span of 41 days, more than 58 people were killed, 31 injured, and 82 houses destroyed, displacing approximately 15,000 residents. The Plateau State Youth Council has attributed these attacks to Fulani militias and has called for urgent intervention from the federal government to halt the killings.

In response to the July 14 attack, the Plateau State Government condemned the violence and directed security agencies to intensify surveillance and bring the perpetrators to justice. Governor Caleb Mutfwang appealed to affected communities to remain calm and cooperate with security forces.

While we sincerely wish the president good health in both mind and body, the spotlight now turns to VDM’s bold submission. What’s your take—do you agree with his stance, or do you see things differently? The conversation is open.
