continuation of yesterday's post.

Unlike today…

You eat heavy food in the morning,
enter bike, bus, or car…
Sit in the office all day.

No movement. No exercise.
Close from work
same sitting, same traffic, same ride home.
You get home, you sit again.
No activity.

Now tell me
can these two lifestyles be compared?

Another difference:
Our forefathers ate homemade meals.
Food cooked fresh at home.
No preservatives. No chemicals.
Today?

Processed foods everywhere.
Canned drinks.
Packaged meals.
Food on the go.
Fast food.

Unknown ingredients.
Even when buying cooked food outside
do you know the hygiene level?
Do you know the kind of stock or additives used?
Many don’t.

Water intake is low.
Exercise is low.
Stress is high.
Yet we still want to compare ourselves to them.
You can’t compare natural living
to processed living.

We are now in an era where lifestyle diseases
are becoming common.
Kidney disease… hypertension… organ damage…
Be careful what you eat.
Be careful what you drink.
Walk more.
Drink more water.
Exercise, even if it’s just walking.
Exercise is not only gym.
A simple daily walk helps.
Balance is key.

So next time someone says:
“Our forefathers ate this and lived long…”
Tell them to also look at:
• Their lifestyle
• Their environment
• Their activity level
• Their natural food system
Take care of your body now…
So when you grow older,
your body will take care of you.

Peace.

These days when you advise people to be careful what they eat…
to reduce canned drinks… fizzy drinks… processed foods…
They argue.

They say:
“Our forefathers ate these things and lived long.”
“Some of them lived 100 years.”
“Some lived 120 years.”
Yes, that is true.

But what many people fail to understand is this:
You cannot compare their time to our time.
Our forefathers lived in a completely different environment.

Their surroundings were full of herbs…
natural vegetables…
organic foods…
fresh air…

Let’s look at their lifestyle.
Morning, they eat fufu and bitterleaf soup.
Afternoon,roasted yam and palm oil.
Night - beans or swallow again.
But after eating, where did they go?
To the farm.

They trekked long distances…
or rode bicycles.
That alone was exercise.
Imagine eating heavy food in the morning
and trekking far to the farm…

Calories were burning already.
Then they start farming
digging… planting… lifting… sweating…
More fat burned. More strength built.

Before evening, most of that food was already worked off.
watch out for Pt2
tomorrow.

Many people are working today…
only to finance sickness tomorrow.

Pause and think about that.

Some spend years in demanding jobs, waking early, sleeping late, pushing through exhaustion, giving their strength, their energy, and their youth to build income.

Yet the very money they worked so hard to earn, becomes the same money they later spend treating conditions their bodies developed while they were too busy to care.

If you are working now, kindly care for your body now.

Do not use the body that generated your income and then refuse to invest in its wellbeing.

Because when you neglect the body that produced the money and spend that money on things the body never needed,
you may eventually pay for it with your health.

Many people are not truly saving money.
They are unknowingly saving for hospital bills.
Saving for medication.
Saving for treatments.

So ask yourself:
What are you doing with the money you earn?
What are you doing with the body that earns it for you?
Are you caring for it or merely assuming you are fine?

Looking healthy is not the same as being healthy.
Clear skin does not always mean a sound body.

We service and maintain any vehicle that generates income.
We change its oil.
We fix faults early.
We do routine checks.

But what about your body?

Are you maintaining it or spending on unnecessary things while ignoring what truly matters?

Remember this:

The body you refuse to care for today with little expense may demand everything from you tomorrow.

Take responsibility now:
• Schedule regular medical checkups
• Seek professional consultation when needed
• Stay physically active
• Prioritize rest
• Sleep adequately
• Eat balanced, nourishing meals
• Stay properly hydrated

Early detection prevents late regret.

Your body is your first investment.
Protect it wisely.

Peace.

You say you want to live.
You say you want long life, strength, and good health.
Beautiful words.

But words and habits must agree.
I turned around and saw you loading your body with bullets.
And we all know what bullets are designed to do.

A gun doesn’t destroy without bullets
And they don’t gather itself.

So what is the gun?
Your mouth.

Every harmful drink.
Every toxic substance.
Every destructive habit you normalize and swallow is a bullet.

And once the trigger is pulled,
damage follows.
Sickness follows.
Regret follows.

It is easy to fire.
It is easy to destroy a body.
It is much harder to rebuild one.

If you truly want the long life you talk about, then your daily choices must agree with your desire.

Why keep loading what can kill you?
Why finance your own breakdown?

Mind what you drink.
Mind what you consume.
Mind what you celebrate.

Not everything that feels like enjoyment is harmless.
Some pleasures are simply slow destruction dressed up as luxury.

Choose life.
Choose discipline.
Choose strength.

Protect your body for it is the only one you have.

A Message to Parents, Teachers & School Owners

This message is for every parent, teacher, headmistress, headmaster, and every caregiver entrusted with a child at home or in school.

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:

👉 Are teachers in your child’s school properly trained in hygiene?
👉 Are caregivers educated on basic health practices?
👉 Do they understand how to handle toddlers and crèche children whose immune systems are still developing?

Because here is a truth we must confront:

Not every illness a child comes home with is caused by food or weather.
Some infections are the direct result of poor hygiene practices within school environments.

We are talking about children between 0 months and 3–4 years, the most delicate and vulnerable stage of life.

If a teacher sneezes into their palm and uses that same hand to carry a toddler… what should we expect?
If hand-washing is neglected… what should we expect?
If toys, surfaces, feeding bottles, and utensils are poorly handled… what should we expect?

Too often, a child leaves home healthy and returns with fever or infection. Parents begin to wonder:

Is it the food?
Is it the weather?
Is it the environment?

But the real question is this:
What hygiene practices are being followed by caregivers?

School owners, this is your mandate.
You carry both responsibility and influence.

✔ Train teachers on hygiene
✔ Educate them on child health
✔ Enforce infection-prevention practices
✔ Make cleanliness a daily culture, not an occasional routine

Health is not expensive, ignorance is.

When teachers are properly educated, hygiene becomes a lifestyle, not a burden.

Let us protect our children by creating school environments that are safe, clean, and healthy.

Because healthy children learn better… and live better.
