*HON. (DR.) BABATUNDE OYETOLA DIYA, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, ODOGBOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CELEBRATES HRM OBA OLUFEMI SUNDAY OLALEKAN OGUNBANJO (SAPENUWA I), KOBOWORE OF ODO JOBORE KINGDOM β PLEDGES COMPLETION OF HEALTH CENTRE AND POLICE POST PROJECTS*
In what can best be described as a royal celebration anchored in gratitude, vision, and service to the people, the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, Today, Friday 25th July 2025, joined the good people of Odo Jobore Kingdom to commemorate the 1st Coronation Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service of His Royal Majesty, Oba Olufemi Sunday Olalekan Ogunbanjo (Sapenuwa I), the Kobowore of Odo Jobore.
The event, held at St. Michael Anglican Church, Odo Jobore Town, near Omu, via Ijebu-Ode, was a graceful gathering that brought together an impressive array of royal fathers, respected religious leaders, community stakeholders, political leaders, and sons and daughters of Jobore Kingdom.
In honour of Kabiyesi's one-year reign of purposeful leadership, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, in his characteristic commitment to grassroots development, joined in laying the foundation stones for two monumental projects: a modern healthcare centre and a police post β both designed to serve the peace and well-being of the community.
In his goodwill message, Hon. (Dr.) Diya extolled the sterling leadership of HRM Oba Olufemi Ogunbanjo, describing him as a monarch whose ascension to the throne is already redefining development in Jobore Kingdom. He noted that within just a year, Kabiyesi has brought vision, dignity, and a progressive mindset to traditional leadership.
Kabiyesi is a man of peace and progress. This foundation we lay today will stand as a symbol of collaboration between the palace, community, and the government,β the Chairman stated.

Their royal presence added colour, prestige, and cultural significance to the ceremony, further strengthening the traditional institutionβs bond with local government development efforts.
