The Top Management Committee of the CUSTECH Teaching Hospital Okene held a crucial meeting with the entire adhoc staff of the hospital.
The Chief Medical Director, Dr Shaibu Stephen Babatunde addressed the staff expressing appreciation for their dedication to duty and also spoke about the management's effort to see that they are converted to permanent staff.
Dr. Shaibu then announced that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo through the efforts of the Commissioner of Health, Dr Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza and the hospital management, has approved the absorption of 65 clinical staff as permanent staff of CUSTECH Teaching Hospital Okene.
While congratulating those concerned, he explained that the absorption of adhoc staff will be in batches and urged the non-clinical adhoc staff to be patient.
In a phone-in message, the Commissioner of Health, Dr Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza, congratulated the newly absorbed staff and urged them to justify their absorption through improved service delivery.
In their remarks, the Heads of Administration Hajia Rabiat Sheidu and that of Nursing, Mrs Otaru congratulated the absorbed staff, advising them to take the elevation as an indication to work harder. They enjoined the others to wait patiently for their time and sustain the tempo of hard work.
