Some of you deserve this title:
General Superintendent of Not Telling the Truth. 😅

And this is not to say you lie ooo, but:

When doctors ask questions, some of you start editing your life story — out of fear of judgment, stigma, or “what will this doctor think?”

We understand those fears.
But hiding the truth can put your health at serious risk.

Here are 5 questions your doctor needs honest answers to:

1. Do you drink alcohol or smoke?
Saying “no” when it’s actually “yes” can mislead treatment and affect your organs.

2. Are you sexually active? Do you have multiple partners?**
This isn’t about judging you. It helps identify causes of infections, infertility, or pain.

3. What do you do for a living?
Your job environment can directly affect your health.

4. What does your daily diet look like?
What you eat (or don’t eat) could be the reason you’re unwell.

5. Any unusual smell or discharge?
No, it’s not about your perfume. It could point to infections like a UTI.

Know this: Edited truth time. Truth saves lives.

If a question ever feels too sensitive, ask "why" — we will always explain.

And if there’s a question you’ve been asked that made you uncomfortable, drop it in the comments or send us a DM. Let’s talk.

We know you may not want to hear this — but we have to say it:

When your nail color changes, it may not be time for a manicure.

Sometimes, your nails can give clues about what is happening inside your body.

For example:

Pale or very white nails may be a sign of anemia, liver disease, or another chronic illness.

Yellow nails often point to a fungal infection, especially when the nail is thick, brittle, or crumbly.

Blue or grey nails may suggest poor circulation or low oxygen levels in the blood.

Brown or black streaks can be harmless in some people, but they may also result from injury, certain medications, or, in rare cases, melanoma under the nail.

Green nails may happen with a bacterial infection, especially if the nail is lifting from the skin underneath.

Now that you know this, the next time your nails start showing unusual colors, don’t just cover them up — visit the nearest hospital and get checked.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate the first doctor many of us ever had — our mothers.

The one who could tell you were sick just by looking at your face, even before you saw a doctor.

Join us as we say Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. 💐

Lifestyle choices shape health.

Too much junk, sugary drinks, little movement, poor sleep, and constant stress can gradually lead to obesity and raise the risk of high blood pressure and heart disease.

Choose better habits. Move more. Eat smarter. Sleep well. Check your weight and blood pressure.

Protect your heart.

This Is the Feeling We Often Ignore

This is the feeling we tend to dismiss—the quiet warning your body gives before it begins to break down.

We have heard many of you say that “Slump and Die Syndrome” suddenly took a loved one away.

We acknowledge the pain.
It is heartbreaking.

But in many cases, it does not come without warning.

Often, the body may have been sending signals—subtle signs that were overlooked or misunderstood.

So let’s take a moment to understand what is commonly referred to as Slump and Die Syndrome (medically known in many cases as Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome – SADS).

Think of it this way:

You buy a new generator.
The fuel tank is full.
The engine is clean.

But the internal wiring sparks—and everything shuts down instantly.

That is how SADS can happen.

The body may look healthy on the outside.
But internally, the heart’s electrical system may fail without warning.

Why it is difficult to detect

Before it happens, a person may experience:

Fainting during exercise

A heart that beats unusually fast or irregularly

A family history of sudden, unexplained death

And sometimes…

There may be no clear signs at all.

That is why caution is never wasted.

If you feel persistent chest discomfort, unusual heartbeats, extreme stress, or unexplained fainting—seek medical attention immediately.

Early evaluation can save a life.

If this information has helped you, please share it with someone you care about.

Because awareness can be the difference between life and loss.
