‎‎In a heartfelt courtesy visit to the esteemed office of the Wife of the Executive Governor, Chioma Uzodimma, we engaged in a strategic discussion centered on improving maternal and neonatal healthcare in the state.
‎
‎During the meeting, we shared our ongoing commitment to saving lives and improving outcomes for mothers and newborns. A major highlight of the conversation was our “Helping Babies Breathe” (HBB) training program a life-saving initiative through which we train health workers in early newborn resuscitation techniques, especially for babies who struggle to breathe at birth.
‎
‎We outlined the initiatives we have been undertaking, including enhanced antenatal services, safe delivery practices, community education, and postpartum care. Most especially how our exceptional work earned us the recognition in the Airtel Touching Life Season 7 program.
‎
‎In turn, we were deeply privileged to present a special award to Her Excellency in appreciation of her unwavering support, advocacy, and commitment to maternal and child health. Her efforts continue to inspire and align with our mission to ensure that no mother or child is left behind.
‎
‎We appreciate the warm reception and look forward to potential collaborations that will further strengthen maternal and child health outcomes across our communities and the world at large.
